“A selection of BMX vagabonds, including Sputnic’s Tony Neyer and Volume’s Matty Long and Steve Churchill (in addition to local Gabe Brooks) spend a good deal of time in the Long Beach, Calif. area, and this is how most days begin — at a local park known by all as the “Ghetto Park.” Highlights include everything Churchill does, especially the final trick, a truck to switch smith. Video by Miles Rogoish.” – ESPN

Summer’s End Mix – More BMX Videos
“SoCal street shredding to end the summer from Gabe Brooks, Daniel “Lil’ D” Martinez, Alfredo Mancuso, Jesse Whaley, John Smith, Josh Smith, and more. ”
Jesse Whaley has been popping up at ton lately again. Psyched on that for sure. Actually, this whole edit is stacked.
Today with Gabe Brooks in Los Angeles
“Just prior to getting the bump up to the Kink Bikes am team, we spent a day with Gabe Brooks in the streets of Long Beach and greater L.A., Calif. In the above video, Gabe gets it done, both switch and regular, with style and a cat-like ability to jump out of anything.” – ESPN
Kink Team Changes
It looks like Kink have made a few positive changes to their line up. They’ve bumped Gabe Brooks up to the AM team and bumped Tony Hamlin (who was on the pro team already, but now riding only Kink parts as well) and Ben Hittle up to the full factory pro team. About damn time those two got the pro card. Head over to the Kink site to get the low down from team manager Jay Roe along with a bike check with Ben. You can find that all right here.
Product: Quintin “Be A G” Hat
“There are only a handful of people that can live up to the tagline “BE A G”. Gabe Brooks is one of them. Once he got out of the system, Mike Ardelean immediately told us he’s on the team, and that we needed to send him a box of hats. As we’ve gotten to know him over the last year or so, it’s become evident that he has a strong mix of characteristics that allow him to persevere through the worst of times and shine at the best of times. There’s something undeniable about Gabe that we wanted to translate onto a hat. We hope by the powers of osmosis that a part of Gabe is instilled into your psyche.
This is a 6 panel snapback made from wool serge. Navy, with the red underbrim and white snap. Be a G, and rock this one proudly!”
You can pick one of these fresh hats over on the Quintin Webstore now.
Gabe Brooks Edit and Interview
Quintin: Gabe Brooks 9th Street Trails Session
“So we headed down to 9th street to check them out and we ran into Gabe Brooks. He was getting in the lines pretty quickly so we started filming this little edit. We filmed this in 100 degree weather and in under about 2 hours. Needless to say Gabe is a beast and it was super fun filming and hanging out with him.
