“Distanced” BMX Trailer

Sam Downs has been putting in work behind the lens for a new video project, clocking a bunch of miles from the East Coast to the West Coast, filming with a bunch of different riders. Here’s the trailer giving us a taste of what’s to come! This should be awesome!

““Distanced” is a full length BMX project that has been in the works for the last year or so traveling between New York, Philadelphia, Miami, and California.

Featuring riding from Mike Stahl, Rainer Etsweiler, Sam Downs, Angus Tuttle, Dan Kruk, Grant Castelluzzo, Juan Lorenzo, Matias Barboza, Alex Avilla, Dom Simoncini, Dimitri McCombs, and Markus Hoyte.

The scene in Milwaukee is always on it, even during a pandemic. The “It’s Time” video was filmed last year, and features a bunch of Milwaukee’s finest like Jeff Klugiewicz, Dan Kruk, Isaiah Johnson, Jeff Dowhen and many, many more. This is mostly street, but there’s some park and trails footage mixed in for good measure. Hit that play button and enjoy some midwest goodness.

Dan Kruk Does Every Trick

USL BMX keeping the videos flowing. Here’s a fresh fone giving us a look at the riding Dan Kruk filmed during his first session back after 8 weeks off healing up from an injury. Hit play to see Dan throw down all the tricks (called out for him), along with some guest clips from Eddie Cuellar, Grant Castelluzzo and Francis Castro at a park and a few street spots. Take a peek! Definitely doesn’t look like Dan missed a beat with that time off.

Majority of Team Leaves Madera

Madera BMX Team quits

Here’s some news we’re sure a bunch of you have already come across by now, but the majority of the Madera team have decided to part ways with the brand after Sean Morr came forward with details from a team trip in 2012, and his experience with riding for the brand, that shares his experience with racism that you can read about below. Team manager Mike Hinkens was fired after the details came to light. As of today, Erik Elstran, Dan Kruk, Jake Seeley, Grant Castelluzzo, Taylor Thompson, Jeff Dowhen, Mike Stahl, Isaiah Johnson and Jesse Romano have all since stepped down from the team after hearing Sean’s experience on the trip and with the brand as a whole. You can view their Instagram posts below as well! At this time, the Madera website is down, and we expect to see changes in the future. More importantly, check out Sean’s words and really understand it, because that is what is important.
