When FBM puts on a contest, you know it’s going to be something a little different, and probably a lot more interesting than normal. That certainly was the case at Derek Nelson’s DIY park HCS, the site of the The FBM BMX Post Apocolymics. It’s worth watching just the see the crazy set ups that Derek has constructed!

This has to be one of the scariest contest videos I’ve seen in a long time. 28 MPH grinds, huge gaps and seemingly zero regard for personal safety. Luckily everyone seemed to make it out of the day ok.

If there’s one place you want to be on September 1st, it’s here! Like any FBM event… Things are bound to get nuts! Want more photos of the setup? Hit the FBM site.
“We are teaming up with our friend Derek Nelson of HCS fame, as well as some yet to be named Bicycle Kooks, to bring you the first ever Bicycle Moto Cross Post Apocolympics!
We will have a full day of jam format BMX Fun, with ran dumb events, that we will be announcing next week, all of which will be totally outrageous and have killer prizes.
Derek’s playground is nuts, so it will be a good time no matter what, but the festivities will surely bring out some the East Coast’s finest weirdos.
Indoor/ out door park, a ridable library, (seriously) and plenty more… This WILL be an FBM Party, Derek nelson style!”
