The guys over at Proper caught up with Jamie Guile to take a quick look at his current TTL setup! Take a peek in the flipbook above.
Not too familiar with Jamie Guile? Well, this new Proper video will open up your eyes a bit to just how good he is! Hit play because everything about this video kicks ass!
“This is Jamie’s first solo edit for Proper. He’s not a well known rider. He’s stayed away from the spotlight riding in his hometown of Worthing, which the BMX media completely ignore. This year we started filming in London at spots that were often completely unridden in the grimiest suburbs. Over Summer we visited Lyon, Annecy, St Etienne, Paris, and Dunkirk in France and kept stacking clips in London.
London has way more decent bank spots than rail spots so no-one should be surprised Jamie has a different selection of tricks than an NYC edit. Neither should you compare this to an California or Barcelona edit. London is tough going, especially when the spots are tucked away where no-one else is looking.
Jamie was still looking for a “banger” up until last weekend. That didn’t go too well but he’s already brewing ideas for future edits.
Filmed and Edit by Toby Goodyear
Additional clips by Sam Barrow” – Proper
DAMN! This video that Proper Bike Co. dropped is absolutely PHENOMENAL. Everything about this is so good. The riding, the filming and editing, the song and overall vibe of the entire video. I advise you check this out!
“We started trying to compile a ‘best of’ 2012 edit but discovered a ton of unused clips and ended up with this……a true mixtape with clips from Amsterdam, Lille, Porto, Paris, Bilbao, and various UK spots.
Featuring (in order of appearance); Shaun Jinks, Max Wood, Jamie Guile, Janis Cunculis, Joris Coulomb, Mike Miller, Gav Shortall, and Sam Cunningham.
These will be the last clips on Proper for Joris and also Gav Shortall.
Gav has been on the team since before Megatour 5 (2006) but has been concentrating more and more on his studies studies recently. We wish there was a few words to wrap up Gavin as a rider/person but there isn’t so we’ll keep it simple. Thanks Gav – see you soon.
Thanks to Janis Cunculis, Sam Cunningham and Clark Thurman for helping out shooting clips!
Song: “People can do the most amazing things – Kisses””
Proper Bike Co. sent their crew into the city of Bibao to have a look around. They came back with this dialed 8 minute long video loaded with some real good riding, real good spots and some real nice scenery. Don’t miss this one!
“We returned to Bilbao for the third City Series. Jamie Guile, Janis Cunculis, and (new guy) Sam Cunningham were new to the city but Tonash had spent a nosey week there on a previous trip. We were confident that Bilbao still had plenty to offer, even with a more rail/ledge orientated crew, it still produced plenty of surprises.
Arch M – 21st Century Union
Mogwai – Auto Rock”
Proper hooked up The Union with first dibs on the embed for this new video that turned out absolutely awesome. Check it out! It’s a must watch of the week!
“South London is littered with ‘council estates’ (or social housing). We spent a month exploring these estates with Rory Duncan, Janis Cunculis, Jamie Guile, Dan Figg, Max Wood (aka Peter Prang), Radek Dźwigała, Ben Marvin, and Shaun Jinks. Tonash Goodyear filmed and edited the results. Also thanks to Mateusz Kanownik and Chris Gordon.
Somewhere in the mix London was blighted with riots. If the move to demolish these estates wasn’t a rush before the riots it certainly will be now.
