This is definitely one of those “What? Really? No way…” posts. Kevin Kiraly has parted ways with Verde Bikes for Macneil. Here’s a few words from Cory Muth about the change…
“After two short years, we’re sad to announce that Kevin is leaving Verde and moving on to Macneil. I met Kevin while he was competing in park at the very first Baltimore Dew Tour. As one of the few brakeless riders on the park course, Kevin immediately stood out with his ability to mix big and tech tricks. Shortly after, he joined the Verde team and began to focus on street and filming. While still capable of doing nearly every ramp trick known to man, you’d hardly know it as he focuses on his ever-growing arsenal of tech street tricks. I’m sure we’ll all be amazed by the switch and opposite subtleties that have become synonymous with Kevin’s style as he joins the Macneil crew this year. From everyone at Verde and The Greenhouse, we wish him the best of luck.” — Cory Muth, Verde Bikes

This is AWESOME. Psyched on ALL of Wade Lajlar’s clips too. This is what I call a must see of the day!
“The Ten Pack distro crew invited the Verde team to Canada so Kevin Kiraly, Drew York and Wade Lajlar headed north to hit up some parks and street spots around Ottawa and Montreal for a week. Special thanks to Harley and the guys at Ten Pack for making this tour possible. Also, shout outs to the guys at Joe Momma shop, Marseille Bicycles and Le Taz Skatepark for hooking up the private session.

Take a look at a photo gallery of a day in the life of Kevin Kiraly over over on ESPN shot by Jeremy Pavia. It’s pretty much a good way to sum up the pro life.
