Lantz Hare Bike Jam Video

Here’s one we had pop up in the inbox today that I’m glad somebody pointed out to us. Some of you might recall two years ago when the devastating tornado ripped through Joplin, Missouri and tore the town to pieces and took BMX rider, Lantz Hare’s life in the process. His dad, Mike, wanted to do something positive for the BMX scene down there and threw a jam in memory of Lantz and to get everyone together and remind them that BMX is a good thing in their life. Take a look at this video. Real good. Rest in Peace, Lantz.

Lantz Hare Tribute

“On May 22 2011 a tornado hit Joplin Missouri and took the life of our dear friend and fellow BMX rider, 16 year old Lantz Hare. Lantz spent almost all his free time at Autumn Ramp Park riding his bike.
This video is a montage of the footage and photos I have of Lantz from his participation in Autumn Ramp Park events over the last few years. Includes clips and pics of him riding in the 2010 JoMoPro, summer Ramp Camp, a “Chaos on Wheels” BMX trip, interviews about Autumn Ramp Park and several other awesome riding clips.
It was an amazing blessing to have been a friend of Lantz, and I look forward to seeing him again!” -John Andrus
