Macneil – Vince Mayne and Billy Cooper

February 14, 2012

Vinnie Mayne and Billy Cooper spent their past summer cruising the streets of London. Check out a bunch of the clips they collected during that time with the help of Ben Green behind the lens.

“Filmed and edited by Ben Green on a Canon 5D MK2, Canon 15mm fisheye and Canon 50mm f/1.4 for MacNeil Bikes and Seventies Distribution.”

Jeff Kocsis Q&A

February 14, 2012

Jeff Kocsis finaaaaaally got picked up by a bike sponsor after a few years without one. Head over to ESPN to check out a Q&A with Jeff about his new deal with Macneil.

Jeff Kocsis on Macneil

February 13, 2012

It looks like Macneil is making some moves for the new year. First Kevin Kiraly, now Jeff Kocsis. This is good.

“We’re real excited to announce that we’ve added Jeff Kocsis to the family here at MacNeil! Jeff’s smooth style and unique use of spots have gotten him some attention over the last bit and we’re real glad to have him representing the NY/NJ area for us. Keep a look out for his ‘Welcome to the Team’ edit which will be dropping soon!” – Macneil

“I had a good feeling about this year, MacNeil and me are just getting started…” – Jeff Kocsis

Kevin Kiraly Bike Check

January 31, 2012

Well, the orange setup apparently didn’t last very long? I liked that one. Either way, click here to have a look at Kevin Kiraly’s new Macneil setup.

Kevin Kiraly’s New Bike

January 28, 2012

Macneil posted up this photo of Kevin Kiraly with his new setup. Looks like a dialed unit. They also put together a bit about him being the team now as well.

“MacNeil Bikes would officially like to welcome Kevin Kiraly to the team. We couldn’t be happier to bring Kevin’s focus on progression and documentation of technical street riding to our team. As a resident of California, he has been able to enjoy great weather this winter while filming a ‘welcome to MacNeil’ edit that is in the works. Along with that, he is about to leave on a trip to Australia, so you can expect to see and hear a lot more from Kevin and MacNeil in the near future.

We are super excited to have Kevin as a part of the team and have a lot of great things lined up with him as well as the rest of the team in 2012!”

Kevin Kiraly Leaves Verde For Macneil

January 27, 2012

This is definitely one of those “What? Really? No way…” posts. Kevin Kiraly has parted ways with Verde Bikes for Macneil. Here’s a few words from Cory Muth about the change…

“After two short years, we’re sad to announce that Kevin is leaving Verde and moving on to Macneil. I met Kevin while he was competing in park at the very first Baltimore Dew Tour. As one of the few brakeless riders on the park course, Kevin immediately stood out with his ability to mix big and tech tricks. Shortly after, he joined the Verde team and began to focus on street and filming. While still capable of doing nearly every ramp trick known to man, you’d hardly know it as he focuses on his ever-growing arsenal of tech street tricks. I’m sure we’ll all be amazed by the switch and opposite subtleties that have become synonymous with Kevin’s style as he joins the Macneil crew this year. From everyone at Verde and The Greenhouse, we wish him the best of luck.” — Cory Muth, Verde Bikes
