BMX

Oh man, are you guys in for a treat today. The guys over at Madera are real psyched on their latest colorway that they just dropped. This new Fall Red color looks real good. In fact, I think they would look even better out of that box and on your bike. That’s why we’re giving away a pair that you guys have the chance to win.

Here’s what you gotta do: Hit The Union’s Facebook and “Like” us. After you do that, if you haven’t already, leave a comment on the photo of the cranks on the wall saying “I want those cranks!”.
Don’t have a Facebook or want 2 chances to be entered for these? Leave “I want those cranks!” in the comments on this post with your name and email address so we can hit you up if you win. Easy as that! Get to it.

We’ll announce the winner on Wednesday, November 30th so make sure you get entered right now.

Here’s more information on the Madera Protocol cranks.

Don’t want to wait? You can head over to their web store to buy them or hit up Dan’s Comp for a set.

Now, that might not matter to most of you who don’t have your license, a job or pay for your own parts, but it’s a good sign that someday, you might not have to worry about what you are going to do for a job and that you won’t have to hear depressing news on TV everyday about how “they” took our jobs. After reading why Sunday chooses production in Taiwan on ESPN as a response to another article on ESPN about the cost difference between U.S and Taiwan made frames, Matt Coplon and I began discussing the perks to Profile and Madera being made in the U.S versus Taiwan, and how because of this, they are creating around 25 jobs for people between the in-house employees, freelance and outsourced help. Let’s take a closer look at what it takes to run an in-house production BMX brand in the U.S…
