Magnolia BMX just posted a series of interviews focusing on what being sponsored is actually like. From riders just getting some free stuff, to riders making a healthy living from BMX, they really cover the lifestyle differences and similarities from flow to pro. Peta Shepherd, Camila Harambour, Drew Bezanson, Morgan Wade, and Caroline Buchanan (BMX racing) are the riders that contributed to this, and I think it’s a good article for anyone aspiring to be sponsored to read.
Magnolia BMX – Cami Harambour Safety Check
Magnolia BMX-Cami Harambour-Safety Check from Rebecca Berg on Vimeo.
We see bike checks all of the time, and occasionally some car or house checks, but this is the first safety gear check I can recall. Cami Harambour shows you all of the stuff she’s rocking to keep herself safe while riding. I think anything that could encourage anyone to be smart and use protective gear is a good thing, so salute to Cami for doing this! If you also think this is a good thing, you might want to show your appreciation by following her on Twitter and Instagram.
Magnolia – Brooke Betancourt
Brook Betancourt has been popping up more and more lately. This Milwaukee local is really starting to get things going. Check out this video of her cruising spots around Chicago and 4Seasons in Milwaukee. Not sure how to explain the end of this though, haha.
“Girl BMX shredder Brooke Betancourt, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, acting like a goof and flowing the rhythms and bowls! This was a lot of fun filming and editing! She knows how to dance too! Twerk it Brooke……Im mean work it! lol
