Last weekend was the fourth stop of the FLBMX Skatepark Series that stopped in Albacoa skatepark! Although the weather didn’t quite cooperate for part of the day, they were still able to throw an awesome contest that had amazing riding and good vibes! Our good friend, Josh McElwee, was on hand to snap some dialed photos and came through with a new photogallery featuring the likes of Mark Mulville, Chad DeGroot, Matt Coplon, Keith Schmidt, Trey Jones, Jabe Jones, Jack Straiton and more! Well, here’s some interesting news we didn’t see coming! Mark Mulville has decided to step away from the Subrosa pro team to join the Deluxe pro team! Some of you might remember, Mark left Deluxe a few years back to join Subrosa, so this is interesting to see. Deluxe does have new owners with Kris Bennett being one of them. Get the official word from Mark below…
“After 4 years of riding for Subrosa, I’ve decided to part ways.
The move is on all good terms and I appreciate to the fullest all that Subrosa has done for me. It’s been an awesome ride and I want to say thank you so much to everyone involved for making me part of the family!
I will, most definitely, miss the trips with the awesome group of dudes that make up the team. Always a good time with that crew!
In moving forward, I will be joining the Deluxe Bmx pro team.
I am super excited to join the already awesome crew and most excited to be riding for my childhood Bmx idol and friend, Kris Bennett (who is now co-owner of Deluxe).” – Mark Mulville
You know it’s going to be a good day when you wake up to an email from Matt Coplon that has a new Tampa Bay Riders video in it! Check out this video he put together from a proper session that went down at the Rooster Den down in Florida! This is one hell of backyard ramp setup that looks like a ton of fun to ride! Check out what these guys cooked up during their time there. It’s awesome that there are actually roosters in the yard, too!
