Scotty Cranmer – Building Up An Expensive Custom BMX Bike

Scotty Cranmer builds up a brand new custom BMX bike for one of his customers…

As many of you know, Scotty Cranmer owns his very own bike shop. Since his accident, he hasn’t been able to do much wrenching, but he decided to bust out the tools once again to build up a custom bike for one of his customers that was meant to be similar to his personal bike. Here’s a video showing you Scotty ~~greasing up~~ building up the bike from start to finish with a little bit of help from Big Boy, Matty Cranmer and Cory Berglar. Most of the time we show riding progression or walking progression but we never really focus on the day to day activity progression. Everyday I am starting to get more feeling back in my hands and today I am building up a custom jet fuel hyper and snafu bike to match my bike for and awesome customer we have named Mike. Scotty Cranmer and crew catch a session on the portable box jump! Scotty is back to riding the ramps!

Although this is a heavy promo for the Honor 7X phone and kind of gives the vibe of the video a different feel and look, this new one from Scotty Cranmer is great. This time around the crew met up for a session behind Scotty’s bike shop to ride their portable box jump. After the guys get some riding in, Scotty gives it a few runs. It’s pretty amazing to see how much speed he was getting for this… Safe to say he’s made a TON of progress since the last riding video.

Scotty Cranmer – Massive BMX Flip Over Fence Gap

The guys decided it was time to get creative with the kicker and a fence…

Scotty Cranmer, Matty Cranmer, Big Boy, Cory Berglar and Vinny Mannino decided to set up a kicker and landing to jump a crazy step up gap over a fence. As you can imagine, these guys weren’t scared to send some big tricks over the setup. Take a look at everything that went down!

“Today we did something awesome that I will be releasing in a couple of days for you guys to see. It’s something that I am really proud about but, we had the box jump out and decided to make a cool setup out of it. We took the box jump lip and a blood kicker and created a box jump gap that you have to clear over the fence with. It was a fun but sketchy set up but the boys managed to get some awesome things done on it.” – Scotty Cranmer

What happens when you challenge Scotty Cranmer‘s crew to a high air contest on a quarterpipe? Things are bound to get wild. Here’s a look at what happened when the guys set the bar and tried to see how high they could send it. You better believe things got up there and real interesting until a slam shut things down. “We did our first ever quarter pipe high jump competition at my skate park! The boys were having so much fun seeing how high they could jump their BMX bikes. Big Boy even did a flair over the high jump! At 4 1/2 he Matty attempted to go over the high jump and he lost control of his bike and it said him straight to the ground on his shoulder and his head.. It was the worst crash I have ever seen him take. He couldn’t breathe and it was scary but thankfully after a couple minutes he was able to get back to his feet like the tough guy he is!” – Scotty Cranmer

What happens when you put a bunch of BMX riders on goofy bikes like beach cruisers, a fixed gear, ghetto gold and more…

Scotty Cranmer decided it was time to mix things up for the guys by setting up some challenges using different styles of bikes from a 26″ BMX to a beach cruiser, fixed gear and more. Each of these guys had different strengths and weaknesses, making things real interesting on each bike and each challenge.

“5 guys 6 bikes sounds exactly the way it does. We have 5 of the worst bikes and 6 of some of the highest world class random bike riders. We took the worst bikes and made the guys do an assortment of random tricks on them. Who will come out on top of this challenge!” – Scotty Cranmer

“We played another game of deal or no deal our skate park but this time everybody brought $100 to challenge each other into attempting crazy BMX tricks! We also had a special guest that brought insane stunts into the game! This was the most money we have ever seen being spent during this game somebody walked away over the $400 mark! We love playing this game and we look forward to doing it again soon for another awesome video!
