In the American scene the vast distances between riders creates a vast difference in riding styles. Being original is a goal and badge of honor for these riders. It can be an easy trap to fall for, to ride like someone else you admire. But be original. Be yourself. Don’t be a copycat. And, WATCH OUT FOR ROBOTS.

Mickey Gaidos celebrating 40 the right way!

To celebrate turning 40, Mickey Gaidos has put together this dialed new flatland video looking back on the past 3 years of his riding while juggling the rest of his life. This is pretty awesome to see with riding from his backyard to contests and more. Take a look!

“With my 40th birthday coming up I decided to put together a video showcasing the past 3 years back on my bike.
It’s been a wild ride juggling family, riding, friendships, work, etc.
I’ve made new lifelong friends and reconnected with so many other riders.
Through building a home spot I’ve been able to share with my kids many of the lessons I’ve learned and relearned through flatland and able to spend more time with them.

I’m really happy to have been able to document at least a fraction of this journey and have all these memories to share with family and friends.

Here’s to 40 more! 🍻

Wow… This highlight reel from Voodoo Jam 2014 is amazing. The riding is insane, the level of energy this contest has is unreal and the filming and editing is on point. If this doesn’t make you want to go to this contest just to experience it, you’re crazy.
