Ledge Heaven with Madera BMX and Friends

April 11, 2018

The Madera team and some other get a laid back ledge session in…

During a recent trip to California, the Madera team were out filming at a ledge spot with a handful of others that showed up for the good times Here’s a behind the scenes look at what went down during the session on and off the bikes between Erik Elstran, Mike Hinkens, Grant Castelluzzo, Dylan McCauley, Jeff Dowhen, Broc Raiford, Jacob Cable, Mike Stahl, Jordan Godwin and more. This was a pretty productive session, so check out what went down!

“The Madera team spend a Sunday at one of the most ridiculous ledge spots in LA. And in typical SoCal fashion, you never who else may end up at the session—this time around guests include Jordan Godwin, Broc Raiford, Jacob Cable, and more. While Elstran put in work on a wild tech move for multiple hours, we caught Godwin annihilating the spot, and much more randomness as well.” – Ride BMX

Madera X Profile Racing In Houston 2017

December 21, 2017

The Profile Racing and Madera BMX teams spent some time in Houston, Texas riding the endless spots!

When you bring the Profile Racing and Madera teams together, good things happen! You can see that in this video featuring Jeff Klugiewicz, Grant Castelluzzo, Jake Seeley, Dan Kruk, Dan Foley, Dylan McCauley and Mike Hinkens who spent some time cruising around Houston, Texas slaying spots galore! Hit play and check out a ton of excellent riding!

“Madera and Profile team up their teams for a trip to the great state of Texas… Houston to be exact. Madera trips are like clockwork, amazing and progressive riding from a variety of street riding specialists. Adding in Profile’s Jake Seeley, Grant Castelluzzo, and Jeff K to the mix just makes this that much better. Oh yeah, Dan Kruk is ON ONE right now.

Though Madera and Profile do different things and have a different style, they are made in the same factory and their team members are all friends. Last month, guys from both teams decided to do officially what they often do anyway: go on a trip together! After the Profile dudes got their bike’s stolen in Houston last year and Dylan McCauley of Madera moved there and found a zillion spots, it seemed like everyone wanted to go there. Dudes from both teams spent a week together in Houston filming and shooting photos (as well as planning for some big moves next year!) and this is what they came back with. Enjoy.

Madera In Minnesota – Raw Files

December 6, 2017

Get a look at a bunch of leftover footage that didn’t make the cut for the full Madera In Minnesota edit!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JXvSp_XAjY

Minnesota is a place that rarely comes to mind first or even second as a place for a BMX trip. What most people don’t know is that there are a bunch of great spots hidden here. This past summer the Madera team decided to see just what was hiding in the land of 10,000 lakes and ended up coming through with a great video from the trip (which you can check out below). In fact it was so productive they had a bunch of leftover footage from b-roll that didn’t make the cut, crashes, randoms and laughs that they didn’t want to go to waste. Check out just under 6 minutes of clips!

“The last Madera trip went so well that the crew ended up with more than enough footage to make a trip video so we decided to make a raw clip video from the left overs and outtakes. Some of this stuff is simply too entertaining to let go to waste. Check it out and get into the good times that a tight knit crew can have on the road.” – Madera

Just incase you missed the actual edit that dropped the other week, here it is below!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkXLdqaKxzA

“Madera is family, so when the TM wanted to plan a trip for 2017, he made sure it would be a place where almost everyone associated with Madera could meet up and shred. It just so happens that the place he picked, Minneapolis, is chocked full of spots as well. Over the course of 10 days, almost everyone associated with the Madera team came through and the result is 10 minutes of diverse and banging footage. From rails to walls and ledges to wedges, the Madera guys shredded hard and had a blast doing it. Take a look at what kind of riding happens when good friends who are badass bike riders get together in a cool city with an amazing videographer.

Riders: Dan Foley, Dan Kruk, Dylan McCauley, Erik Elstran, Mike Hinkens, Taylor Thompson, Jeff Dowhen, and August Zeratsky.
