Craig Passero and Charlie Crumlish have such different styles, but they work together in an edit so well. Biz, Mike Mastroni, and Joel Moody also make appearances. These guys never stop progressing, it’s amazing to watch.

“I decided that I need to get more into taking photos and just covering our daily activities for you guys with the DSLR instead of just taking shitty iPhone pics all the time. Duh right? I was going thru the stuff that was already on the card and remembered that we filmed a second angle of Raban’s crazy gap to rail ender in his Welcome Edit almost a year ago now. When it comes to filming, I hate DSLR shit with a passion, so that is probably why this angle never got used. Volume Bikes & Friends at the Wreck Jam
I thought I spotted Mike Mastroni filming in the background of the other edit from this. Check out more footage of what went down at the Wreck Jam last weekend with the Volume Bikes crew and a bunch of the locals. Definitely a ton of good riding went down. Get to it!
“Last week an injured Alex Raban dressed up in his Sunday best (a gold Dodge Caravan rim medallion) to host the first ever jam at The Wreck DIY spot in Nipomo, CA. Many slices were consumed courtesy of Raban’s Dad’s pizza shop, many Volume prizes were thrown out, and good times were had by all. I love filming at things like this because everything for the most part is super in the moment…sometimes perfect, sometimes real loose, but hey it’s raw BMX at it’s finest…so I decided to take a similar approach to the editing process as well. Here’s a quick half hour in Final Cut featuring Volume heads Victor Glindo, Tate Roskelley, Alex Platt, our good buddy Shawn “Elf” Walters, my dog, & last (and most certainly least) a hot ass channel 12 news reporter, all doing their thang up in the central coast. “I Instagramed a photo of this edit in progress the other day and O.G. Demolition filmer/editor Glen PP commented on it saying sarcastically, “Jason and Biz ride together….no way!!?” Yes, for anyone who follows either of these two even remotely close it’s obviously not exactly earth shattering information. However, we thought that was all the more reason for them to go in on a split edit together. With very different personalities, riding styles, bike setups, taste in mini horses, you name it…one thing that really shines thru here is how much both of these dudes have simply loved riding bikes together for all these years, and subsequently have become great friends in the process.
