Mongoose – Greg Illingworth: Irritable Bowl Syndrome

Greg Illingworth has messed around with trannies for so long that he has developed irritable bowl syndrome! (Man, I never thought I’d say a line like that…) Luckily, this disorder can be controlled by roasting bowls on the regular! Here’s his latest BMX video from Mongoose where he crushes a handful of different cement and wood bowls, and even some transition he found out on the streets! Amazing riding for sure! Enjoy!

“Greg Illingworth has Irritable Bowl Syndrome. He gets agitated if he goes too long without riding a bowl in some shape or form. “I absolutely love riding bowls.” Says Greg, “I moved to London this year and now have 4 completely different bowls within riding distance from my house. I ended up riding tons of bowls this year and it just made sense to film an all bowl edit.” You’ll also get to see him hit a legendary spot in Japan. So watch how Greg cures his IBS.

Mongoose – Ben Wallace at Unit 23 Skatepark

Product: Mongoose – La Familia Frame

Here’s some good news. Mongoose just announced that they will have a limited edition run of Kevin Peraza signature frames called “La Familia” available soon. These frames are being made by the one and only Standard Bykes out of True Temper OX Platinum chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 8.5″ standover height, 11.65″ bottom bracket height and a 13.5″ chain stay length. They kept things pretty clean and simple with an integrated seat post clamp, laser cut drop outs and seat stay removable brake mounts. No word on exact release date, but it will be going for $379! Chase Pauza’s Mongoose Jam Story

Chase Pauza is no stranger around here. We’ve been watching him progress and become on hell of a rider over the past few years. So, when we heard he was picked as one of the riders to join the teams for this years Mongoose Jam, we knew he would fit right in and throw down with the guys. Here’s a little video interview talking to Chase about his experience and more!

Mongoose Jam 2015 – Dirt Finals

The Mongoose Jam is going down at Woodward West this week and it looks like things have already started getting nuts out in California! Check out full highlights from the dirt finals where each teams riders let loose on the trails. This one is pretty interesting because there are a few guys like Devon Smillie and Broc Raiford that you very rarely see riding trails, but they crush it! We are curious if Tyler Fernengel and Dennis Enarson are still in good shape after that crash they took into each other. That looked like it hurt like hell. Check it!
