The different teams videos from this years Mongoose Jam have started surfacing online. Here’s a look at the 6th place team video that Nikita Ducarroz, Gary Young, Brad Simms and Kole Voelker teamed up for. As you can imagine with a line up like this, there’s no shortage of amazing riding that they cooked up for their video. If this is the 6th place video, we can’t even imagine how gnarly the other videos get!

Get a look at who the teams are for this years Mongoose Jam!

The annual Mongoose Jam went down this week at Woodward East, with each team rider picking their own team of riders to film a video. Here’s a look at what each team rider picked for riders and a filmer! Needless to say, this year is stacked and we can’t wait to see all the parts!

“Now entering its seventh year, the Mongoose Jam has an updated format to coincide with the rising popularity of BMX video edits. Mongoose pro athletes team up with two additional pro athletes, one videographer and an amateur athlete at Camp Woodward to ride, film and produce a team edit within five days. The participating athletes and videographers will view the finished edits and vote to see who wins the biggest chunk of our $40,000 prize purse. Now let’s meet the teams.” – Mongoose

Bike Swap – Ben Wallace & Paul Ryan

Ben Wallace and Paul Ryan swap bikes for a session…

Even though Ben Wallace and Paul Ryan both ride for Mongoose, that’s about where the similarities on their bike setups end. Ben runs a longer bike with brakes, some seat post and plenty of room for his height, geared toward ramps and trails. Paul runs a tighter setup with no brakes, a little slack in the chain and is geared toward street. These two guys swapped bikes for a session and needless to say, it was pretty funny watching them try to adjust to the different setups. Even though it was weird, it looks like they had little trouble getting some clips!

“It’s crazy how different someone else’s can bike feel even with subtle differences in geometry–let alone an entirely different setup style. With the Mongoose Jam 2018 at Woodward in full swing, Paul Ryan and Ben Wallace had some fun with their warm up session by swapping bikes for a bit. Their bikes couldn’t be much more different—and Paul’s bike is like half the size of Ben’s—but they adjusted almost immediately and started to shred.

Mongoose just dropped a banger of a video featuring Ben Wallace!

As you already know, Ben Wallace is one of those riders that crushes it on everything he touches from ramps to trails. Mongoose just released this new video featuring Ben getting down on a handful of skateparks, trails spots, Pat Casey’s backyard, his motorcycle and more out in California. This BMX video is packed with damn good riding and excellent film work. HIGHLY suggest you give this one a watch because you won’t be disappointed.

The crew over at Mongoose caught up with Kevin Peraza to do a how-to video with plenty of great tips and examples on how to Can-Can on a BMX bike. This is a very basic and pretty easy trick to learn, but there’s a huge difference between doing them and doing them as well as Kevin does them. Mongoose Bikes In Japan 2017

Some of the Mongoose team recently spent some time cruising in Japan!

Here’s a video giving you a look at what the Mongoose crew got into during a recent trip to Japan. They sent Kevin Peraza, Ben Wallace and MTB rider Brayden Barrett-Hay over to ride skateparks, street spots and a dirt contest!
