Monster Energy – Colin Loudon 10 Clips Edit

April 9, 2013

With the Monster sponsorship and the video game related intro, I expected some Dew Tour flippy/whippy madness. Instead, I was treated to some smooth, stylish riding on street, park and even a little dirt. A pleasant surprise.

Monster – Adam Kun – Kiev Edit

April 6, 2013

Spotted this over on Flat Matters. Adam Kun recently spent some time over in Kiev where he spent some time filming for this amazing new Monster edit. Everything from the riding to the quality of the filming and editing makes this one you need to see regardless if you’re into flatland or not.

“The Hungarian flatland legend’s been busy working on this new edit, taking on the streets of Kiev, Ukraine with his stylish tricks. Adam dropped into Velobike event in central Kiev for a demo with his fans with some incredible lighting and filming.“

The annual DUB X Rampworx Jam went down March 23rd and as you can imagine, things in Liverpool got nuts. Check out this video that Monster dropped giving you a look at it all!

“DUB BMX held their first 2013 jam at Rampworx Skatepark, Liverpool on the 23rd of March, and boy did some heavy stuff go down!!

March 25, 2013

Check out this video giving you a look at what went down at the first stop of Mike Spinner’s Monster Recon Tour stop at the Albacoa skatepark. Looks like there was plenty of rad riding going down and it was a good time for the kids.

“And here it is! Our very own Greg Illingworth answers your questions submitted through Twitter where he covers topics from grinds to hair products… He also arm wrestles Gabe Brooks so this is a must see!!!” – Monster

O40 BMX Park – 1 Year Anniversary Contest

February 17, 2013

It looks like a ton of wild riding and good times went down at the 040 BMX park in Holland for their one year anniversary. Take a peek!

“With more than 40 pro riders signing up the contest presented by Monster Energy at 040BMXpark looked promising from the start. It was the first big pro contest in Eindhoven after the 2011 rebeljam and riders from Venezuela, South Africa, Germany, England, Belgium, and the Netherlands showed up and Monster Energy’s Catfish was flown in to host the event. As usual the contest started a bit later than scheduled but that gave the riders some extra practice time. It`s always good to have some extra riding time at a park that you have never visited before.

Contest results:
1. Declan Brooks
2. Jack Watts
3. Isaac Lesser
4. Ashley Douglas
5. Nicky van der Veen

Greg Illingworth – A Long Time Coming

February 12, 2013

Monster caught up with Greg Illingworth to talk about what it took to make his Ride UK interview. The process it takes to create something like that interview is so crazy from all the different countries they went to, the time it took and more. Who wouldn’t mind doing that for a living?

“Back in 2011 Monster Energy’s Greg Illingworth set out on a journey with Ride UK Bmx’s Nathan Beddows to complete one of the most in depth interviews the Magazine had ever seen. Producing 2 major BMX edits along the way and documenting his travels around the world, his interview ‘A Long Time Coming’ takes Greg back to his routes in SA and on epic trips into Japan and the US. Documented by renound Videographer Will Evans — this is the story behind Greg Illingworth’s A Long Time Coming.”
