Although we just caught up with Grant the other week, we heard that he built up a fresh new setup recently. So while Grant was down in Florida for the recent Profile Racing #EscapeParkTour, we had Brett Rohlfing catch up with the crew and get us a closer look at his new Mutiny Rune setup. This is one clean and dialed looking street machine that’s for sure. Let’s take a peek at just what Grant is running these days and get a little progress report on his signature frame that is in the works as well!

Quicky: Grant Castelluzzo

Over the years we’ve seen a lot of Grant Castelluzzo who has been blowing minds with his technical street riding that is pretty much un-duplicateable. With the start of 2014, it seemed like everything good that Grant had been working towards fell into place. Grant was added to the pro team roster for Mutiny and shortly after named the Team Manager for the brand as well. We figured with everything he has going on with Mutiny, his constant involvement with Profile Racing and his steady flow of videos where he’s either in front of the camera or behind the lens, it would be a good time to catch up and find out what’s new! Let’s see what he had to say!

Sneak Peek: Mutiny – 22mm Cinch Cranks

January 22, 2014

Mutiny_cinch_cranks

Here’s a little sneak peek look at the updated Cinch cranks from Mutiny Bikes. They’ve bumped the spindle up to 22mm from the 19mm version and added an investment cast spindle boss. Between these two things, it sounds like these cranks are even stronger than before. Check out the full explanation below and expect these out late Summer!

“Check out a very early sneak peek of the new Cinch 22mm’s. As you can see we’ve added a investment cast spindle boss which helps for an improved junction between the arm and the spindle boss. The arms have been beefed up a little too.
We decided to go with a 22mm axle over a 24mm axle for the simple reason that while the axle may be slightly stronger, that the energy still has to go through somewhere and that point would likely be the crank arm. So the 22mm axle with our newly revised arm seems to make the most sense to us.

These along with a whole grip of new stuff will be out in August.”
