Sneak Peek: Mutiny Bikes – Post Matt Roe Frame

June 22, 2017

Mutiny Bikes giving us a sneak preview of their new Post Matt Roe Frame…

Mutiny Bikes Post Matt Roe Frame BMX

As some of you might have noticed over the past year or so, Matt Roe has taken a step out of the light of being a Pro rider to focus on other things like work and more. Matt still rides, he just chose to take steps to wind down his riding career to have more time for other aspects of his life. After that decision, Mutiny Bikes had discontinued Matt’s popular signature Conjurer frame. Due to the popularity of the frame, they have decided to release a similar frame with the same geometry, just a few other changes. Today, Mutiny gave us a look at the Post Matt Roe frame or the PMR frame that will be coming later this year. We don’t have full details yet, but we would assume that it will have a 74.5-degree head tube angle, 69-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 8.1″ standover height and an 13.25″ (slammed) chain stay length like the previous Conjurer frame. What we do know is that we are loving that translucent blue color!

We’ll keep you posted when we get full details closer to the release!

Here’s a look at Brandon’s section, along with Austin Brunger who also kicks a lot of ass with a flowy style in the bowls, grinds, nose balance and more. This section is too good to miss!

Grant Castelluzzo OFF Mutiny Bikes

March 31, 2017

Here’s some news we didn’t see coming! It looks like Grant Castelluzzo has decided to part ways with Mutiny Bikes after 7 years leaving his signature Obscura frame behind. It sounds like it was a mutual agreement based off Grant’s comments on the news. We’re not sure if he has a new deal lined up or not, but Grant has been staying busy behind the scenes as a filmer and more for Profile Racing and Ride BMX, plus he’s still putting out a steady stream of footage. Grant informed us that he has a new video coming soon as well. Below you can find Grant’s words on the news.

“I want to thank Gaz and Mutiny bikes for all of their help, love, and support over the last 7 years but as of today I will no longer be riding for the brand. 7 years is a long time to ride for a brand especially in BMX and there are no hard feelings between myself and Mutiny in anyway. Sometimes people just end up going in different directions and you have to do what feels right. Nothing but love here.”

A huge thank you to everyone who bought or was ever interested in one of my signature products. You guys are the best #bmx
