The latest episode of 9 Acres featuring the Halahan family has arrived courtesy of S&M Bikes. This time around we get plenty of Pennsylvania trails goodness, along with some footage of how Lukas Halahan found out he won NORA Cup trails rider of the year last year. Take a look!

“It’s almost 2025 NORA (Number One Rider Award) time… but before those cups runneth over, let’s recap last year’s race featuring our very own Nate and Luke Halahan and Nathan “Meanhorse” Saunders (who’s in the running again this year).

Trail Riders of the Year Nate (2023) and Luke (2024) and Meanhorse (2025?)… we’ll know soon! But regardless who wins, its safe to say the trails scene is in good hands!

Nathan Saunders in Pennsylvania!

S&M Bikes have released a new episode of 9 Acres for your viewing pleasure. This time around the Halahan’s spend some time with Nathan Saunders who came up from Australia to spend some time at Catty Woods, the Halahan’s trails and more. Check out a whole bunch of riding from the whole crew out there getting some proper laps in, along with plenty of laughs.

“Nathan “Meanhorse” Saunders is real nice with it… and the NZ GOAT-Father brings his bleeaaattt to the PA Trails in this August ’24-filmed installment of 9 Acres. In this episode, we see the Halahan’s pit stop at the airport on their way home from the Rumble at Richmond and get Mean-O straight off the plane and into the Catty Clay Hole.

Next it’s back to 9 Acres for some laps on home turf and in-depth character study of the only non-Halahan Rambler Bro. Rip in if your KEEN! Another ‘Trails As’ episode of 9 Acres comin’ atcha!

The Halahan’s made their way down to Australia last year.

S&M Bikes have released a new 9 Acres episode for you to enjoy. This time around we get a look at what Lukas Halahan and Nate Halahan got into during a trip to Australia they took last year! Plenty of goodness from the trails sessions they got into!

“Now where were we again? Oh that’s right… after sewing the seed on Season 3 and then disappearing for nine months, we’re back with a special delivery – Episode 2!

Post-tarping 9 Acres and giving us a little look at the new line, “Big Lincoln’ in the Winter Update episode – Luke and Nate hopped on an airbus to indulge in a Spring Fling Down Under!

The first leg of their jaunt — a visit to Rambler NZ HQ, a.k.a. Meanhorse Country, is chronicled on the ‪@ProfileRacingOfficial‬ YouTube — and now we’re here to drop a cherry on top with the Australian-leg of the adventure… a pilgrimage to The Snails Trails in Canberra.

Lukas and Nate Halahan in New Zealand!

Here’s a fresh video series Profile Racing have for you to check out from a trip to New Zealand that Lukas and Nate Halahan recently took. This is a raw cut with riding to random clips from the traveling and sessions. Looks like they had a great time to us! Check out part one above, and part two below!

“We started off on the South Island of New Zealand, drove west then down the coast for some swimming and exploring. There’s some insanely nice views down there. Made it to Queenstown and got some good laps in at Gorge Road Trails. Chur to the bros for taking care of us.” – Lukas and Nate Halahan

We flew up north and got a sweet van. Drove to Rotorua and rattle canned the hell out of it. Turned out mean. Got a cruisy sesh in at Pegasus with Meanhorse and friends. Then this crazy goat turned up, caused a ruckus and ate all my chips.”

“Three:
We hung around Auckland for a bit. Had a few rain days and the ground was prime for digging; the dirt there is full cream. It was pretty rad to get on a mission at a spot on the other side of the planet. We rebuilt a big set and cashed in as soon as weather cleared.

Four:
Just runnin’ amuck around the North Island. Roll up the tarps, patcha few holes, dry the pits, soak em’ all down, and get that nice broom layer.
We had a banger of a session at PMP.

The Halahan squad get some laps in, in their backyard!

Over the years we’ve seen plenty of siblings and families that are fully crushing it in BMX, but none quite like the Halahan family. This squad all crush it on and off the bikes, and they have one hell of a backyard trails spot. Here’s a fresh video Profile Racing released from some sessions the whole crew got in before winter hit.

“It’s quite the treat witnessing the Halahans shredding their local spot 9 Acres in Western Pennsylvania. The stratospheric trajectory of Lukas, Nate, Shane, and Kaci’s riding skills, and the exponential expansion of 9 Acres over the last few years helps confirm the bonus of having like-minded siblings to ride and build with on a daily basis.
