Some of you may be wondering what year it is… Some of you might be wondering if these were actually BMX pedals people used to ride. Others might be excited about this news. Others might be grabbing their shins in fear of the torture that these pedals undoubtedly could do to you. Either way, it’s 2017 (Less than a month from 2018) and the crew at Odyssey have re-released their legendary TRIPLE TRAP BMX PEDALS by popular demand (We’re not sure who, but we’re looking at you older guys in the corner with the retro bikes — Don’t worry, we like you).

The Triple Trap Pedals are based off the original design with the aluminum body and replaceable cages. Inside you can find a 9/16″ spindle and loose ball bearings to keep them spinning. Available in Black, Anodized Blue and Anodized Red for $24.99 through Odyssey BMX dealers worldwide now.

Now, the Triple Trap pedals might not be quite your speed, but we do have a feeling a few more of you will be pleasantly surprised to know that Odyssey have also re-released their ever popular Trail Mix Pedals in both Looseball and Sealed versions. These pedals have the aluminum body with the concave shape and 8 metal pins per side for superior grip. Inside you can find a 9/16″ spindle and either loose ball bearings or sealed bearings depending on your budget and how much you prefer sealed bearings.

The Loose Ball Trail Mix pedals come in black and polished with a price tag of $34.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Odyssey.
The Sealed Bearing Trail Mix pedals come in black only with a price tag of $59.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Odyssey now.

So, that’s the good word. Odyssey have brought back two of their classic and iconic pedals that have been favorites for a ton of riders all around the world. Unfortunately we left out the entire segment of you guys that like plastic pedals, so we’ll just recommend the Twisted Pro Pedals.

What do you think? Are you stoked to see the Triple Trap pedals back? How about the Trail Mix pedals? Let us know what you think in the comments!
