Vans Kill The Line Postponed Until 2016
Well, here’s some unexpected news we just got in the inbox! The crew in charge of the annual Vans Kill The Line contest in Peynier, France have decided to take a year off after 6 consecutive, crazy, BMX contests at the legendary trails. Although it won’t be happening in 2015, it sounds like they’re already getting the wheels turning for 2016. Expect it to return and be bigger than before. Here’s the official word below…
“The world’s best BMX trails competition in Peynier, France, will be back 2016!
Since 2009 the little town of Peynier in the beautiful South of France has annually witnessed a world class BMX event: VANS Kill the Line. After six years, the BMX the trails competition in the pinewoods with the incomparable relaxed atmosphere has gained the reputation of being absolutely unique.
The list of international top riders that made their way to the legendary Peynier trails speaks for itself: Brian Foster, Ryan Nyquist, Chris Doyle, Cory Nastazio, Corey Bohan, TJ Ellis, Mark Mulville, Mike Hucker Clark, Dane Searls, Mike Saavedra, Ryan Guettler, Ben Wallace, Alejandro Caro, Maxime Charveron, or Markus Hampl – just to mention a few.
Undoubtedly the 2014 edition of VANS Kill the Line was the craziest and most successful of all so far. It set new and high standards for the Peynier BMX Crew as the organizers of the event.
To make sure that the 7th edition will be as successful, Alex Dropsy, Berenger Cordier, Bibi, Nicolas Bertier and Cedric Carrez decided to take a creative break in 2015, let the many volunteers rest and to take the time to reshape the line completely for another unforgettable VANS Kill the Line in 2016. In the meantime a big thanks goes out to all riders, partners and hands that wrote history together. See you all next year in Peynier!

Vans Kill The Line Practice
Some of the best trail riders in the world are pouring into Peynier, France for the annual Vans Kill The Line contest! Here’s a video we spotted on Can You Dig It from some of the practice laps the guys are getting in so far. Expect good things to come from this!
Deluxe – “Part Deux” – Peynier
Tuesdays have been so much better thanks to Deluxe uploading their “Part Deux” DVD! This week they’ve got the Peynier section featuring the team all putting down some amazing riding at this dialed spot! Absolute MUST SEE. Hit that play button!
“For this part, the team travelled down through France to rendezvous at one of the best spots around, and venue of the annual Kill The Line jam, Peynier Trails. These trails are so local to Max that he can see them from his house – so it made sense to kick off the French Trip there.
Following a big rainstorm, however, the place was flooded – but the team got to work and within a couple hours the place was running fast.
For our second full-length film, we decided to mix things around from Welcome To Deluxe. This time out we ventured to some choice spots that our team riders created and nurture on a daily basis – from Southern California to Pennsylvania, from the Midlands of England to Southern France. We also took the team on tour to discover new spots, cook up some lines, throw some shovel-loads, and have a good time. Because that’s what we’re all about… enjoy.

Christine Skjold at Peynier
Spotted this over on Can You Dig It and the video pretty much blew my mind. Max Bimar has a real good taste in women… Check out Christine Skjold making her way through the Peynier trails like a champ. This is hands down some of the best trails riding I’ve seen from a girl which is awesome as hell. Also, I don’t know if it’s Max’s kid or not… But Max Junior makes an appearance and shreds like a full blown man. All around, this is a rad video and it leaves me wondering what the hell is in the water over in France.
