We’re always on the look out for up and coming photographers that are producing some amazing photos. We recently caught wind of Nick Nogueira, who some of you might be able to piece together as the brother of Mannie Nogueira whose videos we post on the site regularly. The other day we got a sample of photos from Nick ranging from BMX to non-BMX commercial work he has done and we decided he was the perfect photographer for our Photos: interviews! There’s no denying that there is no shortage of photographer these days, but it’s always pretty easy to spot the guys who have been putting in the time and work to make their photos look amazing. Todd Nichols name is one that might ring a bell, between his work we have featured on the site in the past or by bumping into him while he has been out on the road. Todd has been riding BMX and shooting photos longer than a good number of you reading this and with all those years comes a lot of experience, miles and snaps of the shutter that have lead to some great photos. If you keep up with the East Coast scene, or really the Deadline, The Trip or Fiend guys, there’s a good chance you have seen Chris Marshall’s name in a photo credit or ten. Chris is one of the guys that riders like Garrett Reynolds, Ty Morrow and Augie Simoncini trust to get the photo when it counts.
We’ve been seeing his name pop up pretty much everywhere between all of the magazines and different websites and figured it was more than time to get ahold of this guy and find out what he’s all about. I can’t remember the first time I came in contact with Fabien, but it had to be about a year ago when I came across one of his edits or photos. It’s funny how you can come into contact with somebody on the complete other side of the world because of something as simple as that. Either way, since then, we’ve featured a lot of Fabien’s work on our site between the edits he has produced or the photogalleries he shot photos of.
We were talking recently about getting another photogallery together and I figured it was beyond time we got to know this guy a little better! Wes McGrath Photography BMX

BMX is a crazy thing. If you really pay attention, it can lead you to some incredible places and some incredible people. I can’t remember the first time I saw Wes McGrath’s name pop up, but if you remember the BIO edit we dropped featuring him a few months back, that was when I really started taking notice of him, his riding and his photography.
Then, a little while back, Mark Noble and I were talking about a feature we were working on, and the photo for the feature was shot by Wes. It was a rad photo and it definitely was the tipping point to where I needed to get ahold of the dude to take a closer look at his photography work and find out more about it. Luckily, we were able to get in contact with him and we started working on this new Photos: interview along with an incredible PHOTOGALLERY to accompany it.
I know Wes’ work has appeared in a few places before, but I honestly don’t think that many people understand how good it really is, so take a little time to check out this interview and then take a closer work at his work in the photogallery. You won’t be disappointed!

It’s amazing how many talented riders and people come from the Portland, Oregon area. I recently came across Jason’s work when he shot the photos for Bruce Crisman’s interview a while back. I was really stoked on the photos so I decided to hit up Jason to see if he would be interested in doing a fresh photo gallery for us. Every now and then I’ll come across somebody who is super talented, but they don’t really know how to get their name out there or they’re not really the kind of person that’s like “hey, look at me!”. Tim Burkart is one of those guys who I came across when one of his friends dropped a link to his portfolio site to check out. Portfolio: Rich Maciver

Over the last year or so, I’ve been seeing Rich’s name popping up in the credits of different photos and videos. I wasn’t really sure who this guy was, but I was digging his work. Each time something new comes from him, it’s better than the previous and it undoubtably had caught my attention.
A few months back, Rich had shot me an email giving me a sample of some of his work. He wanted some time so shoot some more photos for some sort of gallery for the site. I kept thinking I need to find out what this guy is all about and decided to ask if he would be down for an interview. It was perfect timing since I just started playing with the idea of doing this Portfolio series. I’m real stoked to present to you this new Portfolio.
