It sounds like Ryan Lloyd is finally back on his bike after a few months off his bike due to a crash he took. Primary Threads sent over the good news along with this quick clip from a year or so ago for good measure. Get stoked to see Ryan’s name popping back up again.
“Ryan Lloyd had a nasty crash in New Zealand early in the year at the Farm Jam. He got 12 stitches to his face and 3 cracked vertebrae. But Ryan is now back on the bike and it’s pretty exiting. We decided to re-up this Primary Threads one clip just to get you pumped.”
Here’s another entry for the Primary Threads X Focalpoint Worldwide Video Contest. This time around we’ve got a short but sweet one from Alex “Frenchie” Coumailleau who shows you that you can get all sorts of grind time in on your BMX bike on an 8″ tall ledge spot.

Here’s the 2nd entry we’ve seen from the Primary Threads X Focalpoint Worldwide video contest. This time around Jon Frankel teamed up with his brother Nick Frankel to film this rad edit. They caught a bit of rain so there’s a fair amount of artsy shots, but the riding is solid! Take a look.

The Primary Threads X Focalpoint Worldwide Video Contest was extended to August 25th, but there’s been some submissions turning up already. Here’s a look at the first one to surface from Tyson Alexander! Tyson came through with some real solid riding at a ton of skateparks and a couple street spots making for a real good watch. The guys at Primary Threads and Focalpoint have decided to extend their worldwide video contest to August 25th so a few more people can get their entries in! Check out the full details below.
“We’ve teamed up with Focalpoint for what we think is going to be an awesome contest not just for Australia but this is a Worldwide comp! You have 8 weeks to film and edit a web video and both the rider and filmer/editor of the winning edit will get a fresh pack of our Primary Threads and the freshest Focalpoint gear along with a Primary complete pro filming board setup for the filmer to use in future projects! Here’s what is required follow these points for your chance to win…
– Just be sure to download the intro title to place at the beginning of your edit
– Then upload it to either Youtube or Vimeo and title the video PRMYXFP (riders name here)
– Video’s must be atleast a minute and a half long
– Email entries to cooper@focalpointbmx.com
– Judged on filming, editing, riding and overall vibe of the video so it won’t necessarily be the “best” rider that wins, it’s a collaborative effort.
– This is open to entries Worldwide so get out there make it happen!
