Primary Threads – Film, BMX, Skate & Enjoy

Here’s a rad new video that Primary Threads dropped featuring Daniel Johnson and Cooper Brownlee giving you a look at the art of filming on a board. Definitely take a look at this since it’s a rad concept you really don’t see the “behind the scenes” of all too often. Plus, Primary Threads has a filming board that they sell… I bet you didn’t know that.

“Pretty much every rider out there has a board to use when filming lines or peeps who can not only shred on a bike but also likes to skate. Together with Focalpoint we have made this edit on how a filming board can be used for filming BMX. There are many techniques you can apply to filming on a board this is just a little insight to help you get started. Best advice we can give you is to make sure you clear your line of any small rocks or anything else that can send you flying mid filming, you can see at 1.01 in this video Cooper actually hit a small rock that he missed on the clean up but luckily he had big enough wheels to keep rolling.

Alex “Frenchie” Coumaileau is now doing it for Primary Threads. Check out this welcome edit from a lights out session inside some building that has a perfect setup, haha.

“Queensland’s Alex Coumaileau AKA Frenchie a rad dude bringing some French flavour to BMX and the Sunshine Coast. He is a down right shredder but more importantly a really rad dude. We are so stoked Frenchie will be helping us spread the word up his way representing Primary!
He linked up one night with his mate Tristan ‘Tritto’ Montagu and lit up a nice ledge spot in order to film a welcome edit. They filmed a bunch of rad lines and put together this quick but awesome edit enjoy!
