This is so badass. Kink wanted to take a new approach to things with their advertising for 2013 and they’ve ended up with a new series they will be premiering over the next few months. Above is their first ad featuring Aaron Smith getting his Terminator on. Find out more about the ad below along with a behind the scenes look video to see how they put this together. After you check that out HIT THIS LINK to check out a photogallery and more!
“We took a less conventional approach to our ads for 2013. And to really get that point across we knew we had to go big out of the gate. That being said, we started out the series with Aaron Smith portraying one of his heroes. Arnold Schwarzenegger from the Terminator movies. Throughout the year you will be seeing the Kink guys in a light less often shed on. And that is them off of their bikes. Oddly enough, Aaron is one of the toughest people to pin down what he really does off of his bike. Leading a relatively quiet and simple life when not on the road or hanging out in Boston, we figured there is at least one thing he has a passion for…
That would be movies. Not particularly good movies, but movies nonetheless. Aaron has voluntarily watched just about every movie you would expect nobody you know to have seen. With the Netflix catalog as his guide, Aaron knocks out movie after movie, night after night. With Arnold being one of his all time favorite actors/body builders it seemed fitting to attempt to emulate him for his ad. A bit of a stretch? Maybe. One of the funniest, most ridiculous things we have put out of recent times…definitely.”
