Here’s the newest colorway for Van Homan’s signature frame from Fit. This time around he decided to go with a translucent grey so it’s between raw and black. It looks sick.
You can find out a little more about the new colorway here.

Product: Guerra Martyr Frame

Welp, this answers my question about what Guerra is that I asked about when I posted Rick Scott’s edit the other day. It would appear to be a new bike company! They dropped some photos and specs on their Martyr frame that will be available this month.
The Martyr is made from 100% Japanese post weld heat-treated chromoly tubing with a triple butted down tube and the top tube, seat tube and chainstays are double butted. The bottom bracket, head tube and drop outs are made from hardened chromoly. The frame has a 75 degree head tube angle, 71 degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height and a 13.75″ chainstay length. The Guerra Martyr frame also features an offset butted head tube, press fit euro bottom bracket (that’s a new one to me…), removable mounts on the seat stay, 14 mm machined and heat-treated 6mm thick chromoly dropouts and an integrated seat post clamp. The frame is available in 20.5″, 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ top tube lengths with matte black, matte red, matte blue and matte phosphate for color options. The Guerra Martyr weighs in at 3.95 lbs (1805 grams). (wow, that’s light…)
The frame will be available later this month. You can check out some more photos here.
There’s a few things I found interesting on the frame like the weight and press fit euro bottom bracket that makes me curious. I guess we’ll see where things go once they are off and running…

Product: Profile Spline Drive Sprocket
Jeff K takes you through all the specs and details of the Profile Spline Drive sprocket and then tosses in a bonus clip for you. These spline drive sprockets are real good. I’ve been running one for a few months and had 0 problems.
