Prody Six – Desire

June 11, 2021

These Prody videos have been wild to see! We didn’t realize how many there were, but they keep flowing! Here’s the sixth Prody video “Desire” in all of its glory. This video was released back in 1997 and like the previous five videos, it’s loaded with a ton of great riding from ramps, street spots, flatland sessions, dirt and more. Check out all 30 minutes!

“Released in 1997 & once again, featuring heavily on the amazing Brisbane riding scene at the time. Mixed in with riders & locations from all over Australia & New Zealand.

Prody Six was the first to be fully edited using digital editing, which was done using a Casablanca editing suite. The system was hired over 2 weeks & the whole video edited day & night till it was done. Featuring extensive fades, sound on sound, along with repeated sound bites. It also featured a fully licensed sound track. It was was even available for rent in some video stores. A first for a grass roots BMX video for Australia.

Regarded as one of the best Prody videos by many.

Produced by Clint Millar.” – Prody

Prody Five – Meet The Feeble

June 4, 2021

We honestly had no idea how many Prody videos there are, but Clint Millar keeps the party going with the 5th full length video “Meet The Feeble” that was originally released back in 1996! 25 years later and this 30 minute BMX video packed with park, flatland, dirt and street riding is still an awesome watch! Get on that play button to check this out!

“Released in early 1996 is the 5th installment of the Prody series of videos.

The first video in the series to feature “sound on sound” effects with the riding back ground noises heard with the music. At the time this was a huge jump forward in production.

Although still primarily edited using the camera to VHS player technique. The sound track was then laid over using a professional edit suite. This marked a leap forward in the video editing & production for Prody.

Once again mainly centered around the Brisbane BMX scene of the time. But for the first time it also featured footage taken abroad in the USA with Clint Millar & Michael Canfield’s first trip to the USA in September 1995. Also featured are other locations & riders from around Australia.

Sit back, relax & relive a great time in Australia’s BMX history.

Produced by Clint Millar.” – Prody

Prody Four – Remember?

May 28, 2021

Clint Millar keeping the old Prody videos flowing! Here’s a look at Prody Four “Remember?” that was originally released back in 1995! Here’s a look at just under 30 minutes of park, flatland and more with clips from the previous 3 videos all throughout. Hit play and take in all this classic footage!

“The fourth part of an ongoing saga. Released in mid 1995 & prior to Clint Millar’s & Michael Canfield’s first trip to the states. It was to be given as a gift to any riders that we stayed at their place on our trip to the states.

Prody Four is a mix of some of the best bits from Prody One, Prodigy & The X Up Files. As well as some previously unseen footage of the time.

With riding from Beenleigh, Browns Plains, Toowoomba, Level 2 Skate Park & many other spots throughout eastern Australia. Once again mainly focused on the Brisbane BMX scene with a vast crew of riders from this classic period in Australian BMX.

Edited using the Video8 camera to VHS recorder as per all previous Prody videos. The filming & editing as well as soundtrack choice continued to develop & become more refined.

Produced by Clint Millar.“

Prody Three – The X Up Files

May 21, 2021

Clint Millar has been on it with rolling out these old Prody videos he produced back in the 90’s! Here’s the third video filmed in 1995 with 30 minutes of classic riding from street, park and flatland sessions. It’s pretty fun watching this looking at just how much has changed in 26 years, and just how much has stayed the same (or just came back into style even). If you’re looking for some classic footage, you’ll definitely want to give this a look.

WATCH: Prody Two – Prodigy

“Released in early 1995, Prody Three – The X Up Files contains footage from all over south east Queensland featuring some of the best riders in Australia at the time.

Edited again via Video8 camera to VHS recorder, however the filming & editing style progressed forward from the previous videos. Experimentation in different filming angles, helped make Prody Three, the start of the new style to come for the Prody video series.

This video is in memory of Chris “Flipman” Stanek. Ride In Peace.

The truth is out there…
