The Leeper Brothers For Profile Racing

March 5, 2018

Shane and Dillon Leeper are back with a fresh split edit for Profile Racing!

The Leeper Brothers are back at it again with another rad split edit. Here’s a look at what Shane Leeper and Dillon Leeper cooked up for clips while out cruising spots around Richmond for Profile Racing! As always, both of these guys produce some great riding, so don’t pass this one up!

“Profile’s BMX bros, Dillon and Shane Leeper bring the tech to cool and unique spots all over Richmond, VA and beyond.” – Ride BMX

“Dillon and Shane rip. It’s always a pleasure getting to ride with these dudes. After a few weekend camping trips and cruising around Richmond, VA, we put the good times together into this video.” — Kaleb Bolton

Alexis Desolneux at the Skatepark of Tampa

March 1, 2018

Alex Desolneux went to work at the Skatepark of Tampa…

It’s always rad seeing the flatland guys riding ramps or street spots because they always come through with something different and uniqe that makes for a video you can’t look away from. This new one Alexis Desolneux uploaded from a session at the Skatepark of Tampa is a perfect example of that. This one might be short and sweet, but there’s some unique lines and a grind I’m sure a bunch of you have never even considered trying in this. Hit play and take a peek! You won’t be disappointed.

“Everything happens for a reason. I met Matt Coplon (who filmed clips and edited this) through writing letters and trading tapes/records of our respective obscure hardcore bands around 1995-96. None of us knew we both loved BMX until 1998 when I mentioned coming over to Florida to enter X-Games qualifications in St-Petersburg. When bridges between the DIY HC/punk and BMX scenes took me on bridges over the Tampa Bay. A place I had only heard of through its death metal history. It’s no coincidence I’m here, I love both. DEATH Leprosy. MORBID ANGEL Gateways to Annihilation. ASSÜCK Misery Index. REVERSAL OF MAN… And now HORSEWHIP. That music scene. These bands and records. These people.
Skatepark Of Tampa. The most iconic skatepark in the world. Supporting BMX since Day 1. UNBROKEN played in 1993. If only I could have been there. Or ASSÜCK. Or any of the many 90’s shows the park welcomed.
2018, I want to see this little edit as a chance to thank SpoT for the great times and all my people in Tampa, from BMX, skateboarding and music, and in more than one case sharing these worlds. Just like flatland can inspire some street/park riding. It’s all connected. This edit wouldn’t be without taking in all of these different sources of energy and inspiration.
Love riding to death. See you next time Tampa.
Peace.

Music:
NO JOY
Slug Night
Wait to Pleasure
Mexican Summer records

Thank you:
Matt Coplon @Profile, Brian Schaefer and crew @SpoT, Jasamine White-Gluz & No Joy, Brett Rohlfing, Lucas Porzio and Tom Sevisual.

What Is Inside Of A Profile Racing Mini Rear Hub?

February 27, 2018

Profile Racing give you a look at all the parts inside of their classic Mini Rear Hub in this weeks Tech Tip!

Have you ever wondered just what is inside of a Profile Racing Mini Rear Hub? The Mini rear hub has been apart of the Profile Racing line up for what seems like forever and it is because it has proven itself to be one hell of a hub that can take anything you throw at it. Fortunately, a hub like this doesn’t require a lot of maintenance and some people go years without having to take it apart. Because of that, you might be surprised to see how many parts go into the Mini hub to make it tick. There’s a new Tech Tip over on the Profile Racing website with a break down of all 19 of the parts that make this hub, and it is real interesting to see all laid out.

Profile Racing – Leandro Moreira at the Caracas Trails

February 23, 2018

When you see Leandro Moreira‘s name pop up at the Caracas Trails, you know you’re in for some wild riding. Here’s a short but sweet one featuring Leandro throwing down on the massive doubles for Profile Racing!

“When you hear the name Leandro Moreira, the first thing that probably pops into most of our minds are those giant dirt jumps in a field that he boosts to the moon. That spot is Leandro’s local stomping grounds in his home of Sao Paulo, Brazil, known as the Caracas trails. Sit back and enjoy the Leandro show brought to us by Profile.” – Ride BMX

Profile Racing – Ricky Moseley: The Forgotten Part

February 5, 2018

Get a look at some dialed Ricky Moseley footage that has been waiting to be seen!

It’s never fun dealing with knee problems. Ricky Moseley has been dealing with some knee issues, so he had to put filming on hold for a while. Instead of letting the clips he already had collect dust, John Andrus put together this rad video featuring Ricky slaying ramps and trails! This is a great watch, so get on that play button and soak it up since it might be a bit before we get a fresh edit from Ricky!

“Ricky Moseley and John Andrus have been working on this section for awhile despite Ricky fighting a Knee injury that spans back over a year.
In the interim of his knee getting handled, enjoy the fruits of their labor.
On behalf of Ricky, John and Profile, catch you guys later!
