Take a look at this fresh one from Proper Bike Co.‘s connect down in Australia, Thomas Dunn, where he builds up a fresh setup and then gets some time in at the Ride On park. This guy’s got plenty of goodness for you to check out.
Proper – Bon Voyage Edit
Damn this is awesome. Proper‘s Max Wood and Mike Miller hopped on a boat and made their way to the U.K to spend some time cruising some cement parks and street spots. They ended up filming this new edit to go along with the full feature in the new issue of Ride UK. This is one you won’t want to miss!

Insight: Proper – Wedge Stem
Over the years, stem technology has changed up pretty drastically. They’ve gone from these blocks of alloy steel that had 6 (sometimes 8!) bolts in them to keep your bars and fork connected while holding that headset in place all the way down to these crazy CNC machined to the max stems with one bolt holding it all together. It just goes to show how much innovation has come to a part like a stem over BMX’s fairly short history. A few weeks back, the guys at Proper Bike Co. let me in on a wedge based stem system that’s been in the works for a couple a years now. After being put on the back burner for a while, they’ve finally designed something they’re totally happy with and are getting the test results they want in order to really give it that Proper stamp of approval. All though the stem won’t be out for a few months, we figured it would be cool to give you guys a sneak peek at both versions of this stem and find out what really went into the making of it. This is what Jamie over a Proper had to say… Let’s take a closer look!
Mike Miller Bike Check
Proper Bike Co. wanted to help you start your weekend off right, so they dropped this new flipbook bike check with Mike Miller and his fresh TTL setup. How good does that look?
Proper – Sam Cunningham Welcome Edit
Sam Cunningham has been on Proper for a while now, but he hasn’t had a official welcome edit since he’s been fighting injuries since he got picked up. It might have slowed him down, but it didn’t stop him from producing this rad new edit. Check it!
“Sam started filming for this edit last Summer but he’s been suffering from a back problem that’s seen him sidelined through most of the last 6 months. We know Sam had a ton of clips in mind that never got to happen but that’s how it goes with BMX. Snakes and ladders!
Needless to say we’re stoked on what Sam produced and wish him well recovering. Some day soon you’ll see what Sam is capable of when he’s 100% healthy.

Head over to The Merged to get the low down on the new titanium axles and bolts that Proper Bike Co. will be releasing shortly. These do appear to be compatible with a number of hubs other than the Proper ones, so if you are looking into a way to save a few ounces, this might be for you.
