Yesterday, Ride BMX dropped their A Moment In BMX Around the World Photo Project online. Now today we get a behind the scenes look that went into the photo of Ruben Alcantara and Dennis Enarson that ultimately ended up as a cover photo! Take a look!
“As a compliment to the all-encompassing video we posted yesterday, I went ahead and put together this rather awesome timeline of what Ruben Alcantara, Dennis Enarson, Vincent Perraud, and Christian Rigal went through to get their photo. As Ruben states it, as everyone was eating burritos from Taco Bell in sunny SoCal, they were out putting in work to make it happen. And obviously their hard work paid off, as Vincent scored the cover with his amazing photo. Again, thank you to everyone involved!”

We needed to get a photo of Justin for the upcoming issue of RideBMX Magazine, so he met up at one of his local ditch spots… It’s pretty obvious that Justin grew up riding this place, just scope the video for visual evidence.” – Ride BMX
This is awesome! Ride BMX had a bunch of riders and photographers go to work at the exact same time all across the world to get a photo at approximately the same time. This is the results… Needless to say, this was probably a ton of work to make happen, but it turned out awesome. Enjoy!
“For our March/April issue, we contacted our contributing photographers with an idea…an idea to shoot a photo at a specific time on a specific day. The goal was to show a glimpse at the sheer amount of BMX that happens all over the country (and world). The results we got back were more than we hoped for. 16 photographers from 10 different cities came together to shoot for this project and it’s almost staggering to realize that it all happened at the same exact time. Thank you to everyone (see below) who took part in the project…maybe we’ll do another next year?

Have you ever wanted to learn toboggans? Well, let Albert Mercado give you a ton of great advice along with examples on how to get the trick dialed in just perfectly. This is definitely one of the best looking tricks on a BMX bike when done properly in our honest opinion.
