DIG have just released the next section from Ride PA‘s full-length video “Quaker State” online for your viewing pleasure. This section features Dustin Clewell and Richard “Chopper” Viands putting their pegs and nose balance to good use on rails, ledges and anything else they could find to ride!
Ride PA – “Quaker State” R4FB Section
Here’s the latest section from the Ride PA “Quaker State” DVD that’s been released online. This time around we get a real solid mix of footage from the R4FB crew who spent time putting in work on street spots and skateparks up and down the entire east coast. Hit play and enjoy!
“DIG is proud to present the second section of ‘Quaker State’ a Pennsylvania based video series produced by Ride PA BMX, bringing together crews and riders from across the state. R4FB crew rolls in for section two with a treat.
“When Purcey first told me about the idea for the Quaker State series, I immediately said yes. The concept was different and no one had done something like this before. After gathering some clips from all the crews around the state, I put together the trailer for the series and I think that was the moment when the project got everyones attention.
The R4FB section was not easy to film for. Our crew, originally from PA, now lives all over the east coast so communication was difficult at times. But we all put our best into it in the end. Brandon Kaefer (Creator of R4FB) held it down in the south with the crew from Florida and racked up clips through the winter, while I went back and forth between New York and Pennsylvania to get footage. This project was great because it brought us all together again even though we now live so far apart.”
Look for the next section to drop next Friday!

Rest In Peace “Slow” Joe McIntire
It’s always a bummer hearing about a rider that has passed away. We just found out over on Ride PA BMX that “Slow” Joe McIntire has passed. No word as to what happened, but it’s a definite blow to the Pennsylvania BMX community and to BMX as a whole. Rest in Peace, Joe!
“It is with a great sadness that we inform you that ‘Slow’ Joe McIntire has passed away. We received the news through a close friend of Joe’s and his passing was confirmed by his Aunt. Although there is no obituary at the moment we will pass along any information regarding funeral services.
Joe made a name for himself following the release of Ryan Navazio’s ‘Left/Right’ video. After the release of ‘Left/Right’ Joe eventually released his own video ‘Status Quo’ which was distributed through Animal Bikes. Joe had a raw gritty riding style that the East Coast has become so welly known for and he wasn’t afraid to put his peg on anything. We hope you will all keep Joe and his family in your prayers.
In Joe’s memory we have re-posted his video ‘Status Quo’ in full after the jump.
Rest In Peace.” – RidePABMX.com
