Always good to see some fresh footage from Rob Darden. Alli Sports caught up with him the other day to find out what’s new and get some fresh clips of him. Looks like he’s killing it with a freecoaster these days! Awesome.

A few weeks back, Rob Darden had hit me up about using a photo I shot of him back in 2009 at the Chicago Dew Tour for his new signature t-shirt for Rogue Fitness. At the time, I didn’t quite know exactly what they had planned for it, but the photo is one of my favorite shots since Rob’s one-handed flatty’s are one of my favorite tricks to see him do and he’s got some of the best looking ones in the business.
About a week ago, Rob shot over a photo of the shirt and I was really stoked on how it turned out. They took the shot and silhouetted it into the logo which looks really cool as you can see above.

“Resume is a short documentary piece I did on Rob Darden for my senior project this past spring. It covers the string of injuries he endured, what went into recovering, and his attitude toward riding after it all. A good portion of the riding footage also went toward Rob’s Rogue Fitness edit and Arnette edit, but there is plenty of unseen lifestyle footage, as well as contest footage from Simple Session. Huge thanks to Rob for letting me do my project on him!

This is awesome. Rogue Fitness dropped this commercial featuring Rob Darden during the CrossFit Games that were on ESPN this past weekend. So rad since Rob’s awesome and that it was put in front of a lot of people outside of BMX.
Over the last few months, I spent some time compiling weekly lists of the top BMX videos to drop for Network A. It was a good opportunity for me to go back and review all of the videos that dropped each week.
I’m not sure if you are aware of it, but the Daily Section gets updated a few times a day which generally ends up being around 30 new posts with the latest videos, products, news and what not every single day. In a given week, there are around 210 new posts (probably a lot more than that actually) which means one thing… A lot of really good videos get missed since I highly doubt you are spending as much time as I am going through all the new stuff popping up. I hope not at least.
Since the job with Network A ended (two months longer than originally planned), I’ve been thinking it would be cool to do a recap of my own each week to give some shine to the videos that turned out awesome and were quickly buried under all the new posts. So, here we have it. The first round of Hangover, a look back at the wild party we call a week. This should become the new Sunday tradition, so let’s give this a go!
