On the Horizon: We Are Orange Juice

One thing I always get really stoked on is when people are going out and making their ideas and dreams happen. I’ve been a fan of Roy Van Kempen for quite a while and the website him and Tom Lammerse started a while back called We Are Orange Juice. Since it’s launch, they have been making moves to keep things fresh. A few weeks ago announced that they would be starting a full on lifestyle brand to accompany their blog with clothing and accessories sharing the Orange Juice name. I was really impressed with what they were able to produce for their first collection, so I decided it would be a good time to catch up with Roy to find out more about the brand, how they got moving in this new direction, the process of making it and happen and where they are going with it. We Are Orange Juice Release Jam

Roy Van Kempen is always a treat to watch ride. Here’s his brand new edit for United and Rock N Roll Distribution that you’re definitely going to want to check out. After you do that, make sure you check out the PHOTOGALLERY that our friend Aaron Zwaal shot to go with this.

“For my new United video I wanted to shoot in the streets of Amsterdam, unfortunately due to the bad weather conditions I wasnt able to make that happen. I couldn’t wait for next summer so I asked my good friends over at the Amsterdam skatepark if there was a possibility to have a private session. This wasn’t a problem so after a 3-hour session I was really stoked on every single clip. I couldn’t be more happy with how the video and photos came out. I would like to thank Tom Lammerse for filming and editing and Bart Gijsbers for shooting second angle. Also a big shout out Aaron Zwaal for shooting all the pictures from the gallery.

“On the first of September the very first WAOJ x FSO street jam went down in Amsterdam, Holland.
The most important reason to organize the jam was to motivate riders by having a chilled session on cool spots. We couldn’t be happier with the results: such a good vibe, the sun was out and a huge turn out (115 riders).

031 BMX – Verre Oosten Jam 2012
