The Skatepark of Malaga dropped a new video featuring Ruben Alcantara riding and talking a little bit about the skatepark and how it all came to be (in Spanish). At the 3:50 mark, it gets to the riding from the Etnies Jam that went down for the official grand opening of the park a few weeks back! The park was packed and the place looks absolutely amazing to ride!

We have seen a handful of videos from Ruben Alcantara’s Malaga Skatepark over in Spain pop up over the past year, but they haven’t had their exclusive grand opening officially opening the gates up to everyone. Ruben along with Etnies and a handful of other sponsors threw a huge grand opening celebrating with a ton of riders turning out for the special day! Check out highlights from some of the pros and young guns that turned out on their BMX bikes, along with skateboarding, roller derby girls, music and more all in this video that Fisure BMX dropped!
“2015, day 20, month February, came the big day eagerly awaited by all who practice some kind of sport ‘at risk’ in Malaga and beyond its boundaries. After several days of hard work finalizing details, the team of fieldwork; Ruben Alcantara is said by the BMX, Skate slope Sanmi Dominguez and Paco Nunez traditional skates, supported by a large group of workers left the City of Malaga impeccable and suitable space for opening.
Hoisted flags, fountains and lighting operation, services and operational showers, all prepared slopes; at 5 pm the door turned and gave access, free for the day, about 2,000 visitors from curious and future users. You really had generated a brutal for what is a big different project and will speak of Málaga in every corner of the world expectation.

Last week Fox dropped a video from the Breaking Boundaries: South America trip that Chase Hawk, Aaron Ross, Ruben Alcantara and Joe Rich went on. We just spotted this second video that Fox Peru dropped giving us a look at some second angles and footage we didn’t see in the first video for you to enjoy! Sony Action Cam sent mountain bike rider Brett Rheeders to Malaga, Spain to get the full experience from the one and only, Ruben Alcantara! This video gives us a look at the riding they got in from Ruben’s park to some street and dirt spots that Ruben took the guys to. Needless to say, the footage is damn good and one you gotta see!
