Fit – Tom Dugan Does Malaga

Oh hell yeah! Now this is an epic line up for an edit. Fit Bike Co. just dropped this 11 minute video from the trip Tom Dugan and Brian Foster took to Malaga, Spain to visit Ruben Alcantara and his new park! Hit that play button and then kick back and enjoy this!

“Tom Dugan made his way to Malaga, Spain to ride and rub shoulders with OG legends BF and Ruben Alcantara earlier this spring. Tom and Brian’s primary objective was to put some footage in the can for their DVD parts, but as an added bonus, Stew Johnson was kind enough to throw some extras into this little edit for us. Enjoy!

If there’s one person who I’m always stoked to see something new from, it’s Ruben Alcantara. Between his riding and everything else he does, like the work he has been doing designing skateparks lately, it’s always something awesome.
We were lucky enough to catch up with him the other day to find out what is new in his life and find out what he has cooking up here in the near future. It sounds like we can expect a full video part, more riding and plenty of amazing parks popping up. Let’s take a look and see what he had to say!

Northside – Spanish Vacation

Eki Vainikka and crew loaded up and made their way to Malaga, Spain for some sunshine and sessions! Check out what they got into in this video!

“It finally got too cold for BMXing in Finland so Eki Vainikka and co decided to head south to Spain and team up with Ruben Alcantara. If BMX is about having a blast with friends, these guys have the formula dialed. Follow them from Benalmádena to Fuengirola and Málaga as they ride a some sick parks. As usual, the new park in Málaga isn’t open, but these riders have come too far to be denied. They hop the fence and get down to business. No circus tricks needed, just big air and steezey bowl riding. If You’re Gonna Break Into a Park, You Better Ride as Well as these Guys.” – Epic TV

Here’s one I’ve been waiting for! Check out Ruben Alcantara, Matt Roe and Sergio Layos all riding Ruben’s park he designed and built in Malaga, Spain in this video from Red Bull! This park looks AMAZING to ride and they absolutely kill it! Hit play!

The wraps are finally off Ruben Alcantara’s new skatepark in Malaga with the facility finally ready to ride.

Ruben invited fellow Spaniard Sergio Layos and Fly Bikes teammate Matt Roe down to southern Spain to help him ride and test the bowl.

Will Evans was on hand to film Ruben, Sergio and Matt as they sessioned the park for the very first time.“

Red Bull caught up with Ruben Alcantara to find out more about his skatepark he designed and built in Malaga, Spain. This video is part 2 of the series and features Ruben getting a little riding time in while talking about how the park came to be the way it is. Expect part 3 soon where he really tears the park to pieces with style.

“Ruben Alcantara has spent his career traveling the globe riding the planet’s best skateparks. When the opportunity to be involved with the design process for a new park in his local town of Malaga, Spain arised he jumped at the chance.

Typically with Ruben however, he didn’t want just any old park and set about drawing influences from one of his other big loves, surfing.
