Fit Shortcut Ryan Russell

August 1, 2025

Fit Bike Co. dropped a new Ryan Russell video!

Fit Bike Co. coming through with a video featuring Ryan Russell putting his Shortcut frame to good use during some flatland riding. Hit play to get all the details on the frame and all the real solid riding!

“Ryan Russell worked at Fit/S&M back in the day and continues to work his magic on the bike 10+ years later. Ryan moved to Portland and has been really digging the Shortcut frame for riding Flatland, even though many would deem it a “street” frame. Since Stew was in the area, he hooked up with Ryan to get his take on why Flatlanders, and Street Riders, should be checking out this frame.

Filmed/Edited by: Stew Johnson” – Fit Bike Co.

Through The Lens – What You Didn’t Know #2 – Ryan Russell

There has always been something intriguing to me about getting some behind the scenes details on a photo. I don’t know what it is about it but I just get stoked on seeing exactly how someone shot a specific photo and get a little insight into the process. I suppose it has something to do with the fact that every photographer shoots a little differently, which in turn makes each story unique in its own way. I can remember studying photos in magazines and borderline obsessing about the way that they were shot and honestly over the years not much has changed. I still find myself getting lost in photos to this day with the same level of curiosity that I had when I first started shooting. With that said, enjoy round two of WYDK.

S&M – Ryan Russell Quality Control

February 17, 2012

Damn this is sweet. Ryan Russell is dialed on a bike for sure. Trails, street, flat, park. You name it, he probably does it and has a bike setup for it.

“A couple facts about Ryan: he works quality control at S&M bikes in Santa Ana, California. He’s an all around great human being as well as an all around great rider; this edit gives a little taste of his diverse bike skills.
