Scotty Cranmer, Big Boy and Cory Berglar pull out the shop ramps…

The latest video from Scotty Cranmer gives us a look at what went down during a session behind the shop with Big Boy and Cory Berglar who spent some time riding some of the ramps they had in storage. Hit play to see what went down from jumping over Scotty’s Audi wagon to Big Boy working on his truck drivers and more.

“Today we are having a session behind my bike shop with CORY and BIG BOY! We start the session straight out with a jump over my Audi to get it going. We set up the spine, ledges, and A frame for the guys to ride. We taught Big Boy some new tech tricks while Cory got back some old ones and learned some new ones as well. We got a barspin out of Cory and a fake challenge multiple times today! Big Boy did his new favorite trick! Then Cory had to leave to go help his parents move so we ended the session there, I hope you guys enjoyed this one.” – Scotty Cranmer

Joe Doherty has been super busy pumping out these interviews for The BMX In Our Blood Podcasts. Here’s the latest where he sits down with Brian Kachinsky who gives us his full story from how he got into BMX, the reason he started the Uncovered BMX contest series with Van Homan and much, much more. “It’s not too often you talk to a total freestyle badass that is incredibly motivated to give back to the BMX community. Brian Kachinsky is just that person. He and Van Homan have created a three stop amateur BMX freestyle series that started in Maryland, continued in Pittsburgh at The Wheel Mill (where this interview took place) and will wrap up at the Four Seasons park in Milwaukee on March 24th. Please take tips from Brian in this interview and give back to BMX in any way you can. Doesn’t mean you have to put on an event, just create an atmosphere that promotes the sport. Cory Berglar has taken some heavy slams while filming for Scotty Cranmer’s Youtube channel…

If you have been watching Scotty Cranmer‘s Youtube channel over the past twoish years, then you know that Cory Berglar is notorious for crashing. Not because he’s bad at riding a BMX bike, but because he’s always sending some really wild riding and things don’t always pan out when you do that. Scotty decided to dig through the archives and put together a whole bunch of crashes that were captured since the channel launched. There’s even a bonus crash edit Matty Cranmer put together with some older crashes. After all the crashes and a look at one of the most insane crashes Cory has even taken, Scotty sits down with Cory to talk about his weird history of crashes.

It’s that time again for Scotty Cranmer to give the guys a challenge. This time around he decided to combine the obstacle course challenge with the manual challenge to see just who can go the distance. Check out what went down and who took the win between Matty Cranmer, Cory Berglar and Big Boy!

“ We did a BMX bike manual challenge behind my bike shop to test the rider’s skills! A manual is like a wheelie but with out pedaling the bike it takes bike control and a lot of balance! In this challenge we came up with 6 obstacles to really test the riders ability! After a lot of trial and error we came down to one champion of the BMX manual challenge!” – Scotty Cranmer

The Wheel of Misfortune returns! This time around it comes out at Jackson Skatpeark!

Whenever the Wheel of Misfortune comes out, you know things are going to get interesting! This time around they decided to bring it out to Jackson skatepark on a sunny day. Check out what Big Boy, Brooklyn, Cory Berglar and Vinny Mannino threw down and who took the win!

“Finally getting some nice weather here in New Jersey so me and the boys decided to head out to Jackson skatepark Big Boys favorite skatepark to play a game of wheel of misfortune! This was the first outdoor skatepark we ever played this game at. Bk, Cory, Vinny, and Big Boy played the game using the letters B M X to get out. Some had better luck than others Big Boy was on the ground a lot as usual, Cory was trash talking to get in peoples head, Bk well he was just doing Bk and Vinny was just out here ready to ride! Over the weekend, The Uncovered BMX contest series rolled through The Wheel Mill and Scotty Cranmer, Big Boy, Cory Berglar and Matty Cranmer made the trip to Pittsburgh! Check out what they got into before the contest and some highlights from the contest in this new video!

“The day of the Uncovered semi pro BMX competition here at the Wheel Mill Skatepark! So many amazing riders are here to compete against each other and push the limits of BMX bike riding as far as possible! There were so many riders doing some amazing tricks but one rider named Mad Mike stood out in particular to me, He goes by the name of Mad Mike and he is one of the most hardcore powerful BMX riders I have ever seen before! He did the craziest gap to grinds that has ever been done in BMX!” – Scotty Cranmer

Scotty Cranmer Rides Trey Jones’ Backyard

Scotty Cranmer gets back on the bike during a session at Trey Jones’ backyard…

It has been a little while since Scotty Cranmer has uploaded a video with some riding footage, but that’s because his body doesn’t do so well in the cold weather after the accident. Fortunately, it’s 80 degrees and sunny in Florida, so Scotty decided it was time to get some riding on Trey Jones‘ backyard, A.K.A the Florideah Training Facility. Scotty figured today was the day to try and re-learn fakie’s. Here’s a video where Scotty gives it a few goes with the help of Big Boy and Matty Cranmer. Needless to say, this is awesome to see since it has been a long road to recovery for Scotty and to see him making moves like this is so good.

“I finally got back on my BMX bike to ride again, but this time I wanted to challenge myself by re-learning a new trick! I decided to try and see if I am getting stronge enough to do a “fakie” which is riding a BMX bike backwards! It is very difficult but I was definitely up for the challenge! After riding my bike we spent the last day of our Florida trip hanging out at the lake enjoying the amazing weather!” – Scotty Cranmer

It turns out you can even ride the inside of Trey Jones’ house…

During their stay at Trey Jones‘ house, Scotty Cranmer, Big Boy, Jabe Jones and Trey put together a crazy obstacle course that starts in the front yard and rolls all the way through the house and around the background. Take a look at the course, plus a look to see if Trey, Big Boy and Jabe can make it through.

“We made an obstacle course to ride BMX bikes through a house! you start on the front lawn and ride through the house out the back door and into his backyard skatepark where all the amazing ramps are! three riders compete against each other toes who can get through the course the furthest without messing up!” – Scotty Cranmer
