Sean Sexton Leaves Cinema Wheel Co.

Here’s some interesting news, Sean Sexton decided to step away from his spot on Cinama Wheel Co. for a full spot with Odyssey. Check out some words from team manager, Will Stroud, about the news!

“Losing team riders is never easy, especially when it’s a guy like Sean Sexton. Sean was one of the OG Cinema team riders when the team formed in 2010 and has kept us laughing and smiling on every trip since then. His powerhouse riding style combined with his witty jokes makes him really fun to travel with and he will be missed by the Cinema crew. Sean was offered a nice opportunity to ride all Odyssey parts, which means he will no longer be running Cinema Wheels. Odyssey x Empire – “¡Viva La Revolución!”

This is so cool. Back when I got into BMX (late 90’s, early 2000’s), most American BMX brand’s trips were to some destination in the USA, or maybe to somewhere like England or Germany if you were really going all out. In the past few years, however, that has changed drastically, and I think it’s great. Riders aren;t just visiting new spots for make a video, but learning about new cultures and making it more of a life experience than a filming mission. Odyssey and Empire really turned it up for this one, going to a location that most Americans will never get the chance to visit. Hats off to you guys!
