The Shadow Conspiracy have been getting a lot of questions about their new Enclosed forks that they gave a sneak peek of a while back. The concept of the female axle fork with adjustable rake with interchangeable inserts is definitely something new to BMX forks. They decided to put together a feature on the site to give you a closer look at the forks with more details. You can take a closer look RIGHT HERE. Just to note, these are just prototypes so the Enclosed forks probably won’t be out for a while still.
A little over a week ago, I had a care package show up on my doorstep from Vans. I had an idea of what was inside, but I wasn’t sure. Back in October The Shadow Conspiracy had hit me up asking for my shoe and shirt size. They wouldn’t say why they needed it or anything. I knew something was up, and I found out at Interbike in September that the two brands were doing a collaboration. Fast forward to February and the shoes released with a ton of coverage from all angles. So when it showed up on my door step in April I was surprised since I didn’t know I would be getting anything. I’m sure most of you guys out there don’t even think about what your bike parts are coming in before you rip it apart to throw it on your bike. But, The Shadow Conspiracy is one brand that puts some work in on their packaging to make it look real good sitting on the shelves. They recently decided to change things up and use packaging that looks like coffins to go with the image of the brand. You can check out some more about this by hitting the Shadow site. Next time you are at the shop or get a box of goodies in the mail, take a look at the packaging before you rip it apart. Somebody put time into it.
