Saturday is here once again! That means it’s time to take a closer look at some more BMX parts and bikes you’re definitely going to want to take a closer look at! This week we’re going to take a closer look at the Current tires from Sunday Bikes, the Butter nylon pegs from Cult, the Elite fork from Demolition, then we’ll get a look at the Ravager top load stem from The Shadow Conspiracy and finally wrap things up with the new District complete bike from Volume Bikes! Ready? Alright, let’s do this…

One thing that I think most riders need to pick up on over time is how to work on their own bike. Growing up, my older brother and I used to hit up garage sales and pick up bikes just to fix them up. I learned a lot about how a bike works just by simply taking things apart and figuring out how to put it all back together. Back then, things were a little more complicated and 9 times out of 10 I found myself regretting pulling a set of cranks or a headset out when I was stuck chasing ball bearings around on the floor (I can only imagine how many of you older guys just started laughing). Now days, BMX bikes have become easier to work on with pretty standard sizes and sealed bearings. Along with that, tools have been developed to simplify the task even more. One of those tools would be the Multi-Tool from The Shadow Conspiracy. Whether you’re just a beginner learning how to avoid stripping out all your bolts or a mechanic that’s turned plenty of wrenches at a shop, this is one tool that will make your life a little easier. Let’s take a closer look!
Take a look at this video The Shadow Conspiracy dropped from a session the team got in at TRP when they were in Detroit last month! This park is super fun and you know these guys were all killing it at the place. Hit that play button to enjoy!
“Last month the crew of Lahsaan Kobza, Johnny Devlin, and Caleb Quanbeck headed to the mean streets of Detroit for a stop on our infamous KIL Keep it Local tour. Along the way they headed to Transitions Ramp Park and got down with some of the locals. Check out the session and keep your eyes peeled for the full Michigan trip video coming soon!
Special thanks to QBMX, Transitions Ramp Park, and the TRP locals.

Get over to The Shadow Conspiracy‘s website to check out a fresh bike check with Drew Bezanson! I’m not sure how the hell Drew does what he does on a bike, but I can tell you he’s doing it on this dialed unit right here! Take a closer look here!
Shadow Conspiracy – Woodward Week from Shadow Conspiracy on Vimeo.
Simone Barraco, Drew Bezanson, Trey Jones, Ben Hucke, and Mark Burnett spent a week at Woodward in the name of Shadow, and they got a lot of stuff down in that time. Everyone killed it, and it’s all tricks to don’t normally see coming out of the foam pit capitol of the world.

Well, this one is kind of an important column for me. Not only is it number 75, but it’s a piece that I was really stoked to share. Ben Hucke has been someone that I have enjoyed hanging with, shooting with and riding with for years now. He’s got a unique style, does things his own way and has a positive mindset on the regular. He has taken his own path in life, lives each day like it’s his last and truly understands how awesome BMX is. One of the few people who really get it and one of the few who will leave his mark within the riding world. He’s constantly busy raising his son, filming, shooting and working on multiple projects to keep his sponsors happy. His hustle is something that I can respect and on that note, here’s to number 75. It’s been a wild ride and I really appreciate every single person out there that has taken the time to read my column, share my column or just simply enjoy my column. When I get reminded of the fact that there are people out there that look forward to each piece I feel truly grateful to have had this opportunity. Thanks to Kurt, thanks to you, the readers, and thanks to BMX for shaping me into the person that I am today. On that note, let’s learn a little bit about Ben Hucke and show some respect to someone who’s in it for the right reasons.

Here’s a little sneak peek I spotted over on The Merged of the new investment cast fork that The Shadow Conspiracy is working on. The details that have gone into this look amazing and I’m excited to see what it’s all about at Interbike in September!
