After years with S&M Bikes, AJ Anaya has decided to step away from the team to pursue a new opportunity with Colorado based brand, Reklamation Bikes. Check out the official word from AJ explaining his decision and what the future holds. Sounds like he will have a few new signature items we’ll have to keep an eye out for!
“First and foremost, I want to give thanks to Chris Moeller and the S&M crew. After six years with the S&M team, I am parting ways with the company. It has been an amazing journey and an awesome experience that I am very grateful for. I’m happy to say that I’m leaving on good terms and everything is cool with Moeller and crew.
The reason I’ve decided to part ways with S&M is to take a rad opportunity to start something new with a local bike company here in Colorado. I am now officially riding for Reklamation Bikes. Fred from Reklamation’s has been a great support throughout my career. He has been looking out for me since day one. In fact, Fred gave me my first BMX frame, which happened to be an S&M. It makes the most sense to me to start something new with him, given his support and the trust that we’ve built over the years. I look forward to representing the Reklamation brand.
The relationship with Reklamation will be kicked off by a signature Anayalater frame and bars. Reklamation’s support will ensure that I am on my bike for years to come. This is my second wind!
Please stay on tuned for the release of my signature frame within the next few months.
Also, be sure to check out my new VP edit, which is dropping next day is two. This edit will showcase all of my favorite spots in Colorado, with the one and only Coloradical Dylan Phfol. So I’m really excited about to be releasing it.
I would like to thank all the homies at the building for always helping me out and keeping the wheels rolling. Special thanks to Chris Moeller, Dylan Ambrose, Shawn Macanny, Ryan Russell, and Tyler Halvorsen.
I may no longer be on the team but I will consider S&M as family.
I wish everyone in the building the best of luck and keep kicking ass.
Thanks AJ Anaya

Talk about a classic! I don’t know what you were doing in 1993, but I know it was still about 7 years before I ever started trying to ride. The S&M Bikes “44 Something” video came out in 1993 and it was JAM packed full of guys we consider legends to this day! This is BMX history at its finest.
“On their bikes: Keith Treanor, Chris Moeller, Dave Clymer, Jimmy Levan, John Paul Rogers, Mike Lausman, Mike Ocoboc, Ian Morris, Sean Butler, John Englbert, Mike Griffin, Mike Castillo, Aaron Kreuger, Lawan Cunningham, Bob Kohl, John Peacy, Todd Lyons, Tim Hall, Chad Herrington, Will Smyth, Ronnie Farmer, Pete Augustin, Brad Blanchard, GG Hawkins, Jamie Spritzer, Randy Lawrence, Shawn Yarrell, Jay Miron, Dave Mirra, Steve Swope, Bubba, Chris Potts, Jay Eggleston, Dennis McCoy, Dave Parrick, Jay Lonergran, Alan Foster, Brian Foster, Hippie Jay, Paul Roberts, Chad Roberts, Jody Donnelly, Psycho
“Somehow, this video made for under $1,000 sold more than 8,000 copies, and was named by BMX Plus magazine as one of the Top Ten BMX videos of the 1990’s. Crazy. And yeah, that really was Dee Snider of Twisted Sister in the video.” – Steve Emig (Editor)”

We posted up a sneak peek of this frame last week, but today is the official launch of the AUCTION for a one off 20.75″ S&M BTM frame in camo. This was a frame that accidentally was painted this color and Transition BMX got their hands on it. Instead of selling it, they’re auctioning it off with 100% of the proceeds going to the Wounded Warriors of Canada foundation! If you’re digging this frame and want to help out an amazing charity, get to bidding RIGHT HERE!
“For auction is a one-of-a-kind S&M BTM 20.75″ frame, that was accidentally painted in CCR Camo at the S&M factory. It is the only BTM frame that is currently available in this colour.
This made in the USA frame is one of the most popular BMX frames out there thanks to its responsive geometry, strength and light weight. It is made in the USA and comes with a limited Lifetime Warranty from S&M.
We are auctioning off this frame in support of Wounded Warriors Canada (woundedwarriors.ca) who will receive 100% of auction proceeds. Wounded Warriors Canada is a non-profit organization founded in 2006 that helps Canadian Forces members – be they full time or reservists – who have been wounded or injured in their service to Canada.
Please help us support this worthy cause and bid generously.” – EBAY

This is awesome. The guys at Transition BMX Shop up in Edmonton, Canada got their hands on a one off, accidentally painted camo 20.75″ BTM frame from S&M Bikes. Instead of taking advantage of this rare occasion for their own profit, they have decided to auction it off for a good cause and donate everything to the Wounded Warriors of Canada. The auction will start September 1st on Ebay at $1 and run for 7 days. We will be dropping a link Monday as soon as it goes live, so make sure you keep an eye out for this!
After what sounds like an absolute shit storm trying to make this video happen, S&M Bikes connect in New Zealand has a new edit jam packed with park and trails gold for you to enjoy! Take a look!
“After riding for S&M / Triple Six NZ for 18 months, this edit is well overdue. Lost memory cards, filmers and editors going AWOL, New Zealand just getting internet last week and my lack of assertiveness to ask to be filmed, we finally have something to show you.
Shot mainly in NZ, along with a trip to England and France for Kill The Line last year.
Huge thanks to Bevan for stepping up and killing it in the editing department, after editing was on a hiatus for at least four months, especially having to deal with clips from at least five different filmers and cameras. Apologies for the delay and the quality of some of the clips, but having a good time riding with your mates is way more important than trying to get clips in my opinion. Watch out for the next one, it’ll drop hopefully sometime before 2017.
Huge shout out to Top Gear Cycles Taupo, Triple Six NZ, Style and Flow (S&F) and obviously S&M Bikes!
Also, big thanks to the locals at Epsom, Leatherhead, Max and Crew at Peynier, C-Town Cats and the dreads at PMP” – Joe

A little while back some of the Credence grew and a few of their friends made the trip up to Portland, Oregon to cruise some of their amazing cement parks, ride some trails and even get some surfing in. Check out this video S&M Bikes dropped from the trip that’s loaded with style and good times!
