February 7, 2018

Snakebite have released the latest version of their 4-piece Meth Bars…

A post shared by Snakebite BMX (@snakebitebmx) on Feb 6, 2018 at 12:57pm PST

We didn’t know it, but Snakebite have had their own 4-piece bars for a while now. In fact, they just released the 3rd version of their 4-piece Meth Bars. These 4-piece BMX bars are made right here in the U.S.A from full 4130 chromoly tubing with an 8.9″ or 9.2″ rise, 29″ width, 1-degree of upsweep and 12-degrees of backsweep. They’re based off the old Forklifter and Bully bars, but with modernized geometry. The bars are available in Black and Chrome color options with a price tag of $74.99 (black) or $84.99 (Chrome) and can only be found at Goods BMX!

Mat Hoffman & OKC BS Mix – “Chasing The View Off The Cliff”

January 10, 2018

Check out Mat Hoffman’s section from the “Chasing The View Off The Cliff” video that came out in 1994!

Snakebite BMX coming through with some more gold for you from the old “Chasing The View Off The Cliff” video. This time around we get Mat Hoffman‘s section that is a mix of footage from him and the Oklahoma City BS stop that had a bunch of awesome riding go down. It’s pretty crazy how much has changed since 1994, but one thing has stayed the same… Mat is still crushing it on a vert ramp and sending it as big as ever!

“Dig 25” – Full Video

December 8, 2017

Check out the full “Dig 25” BMX video!

This is so rad… Check out riding from Fuzzy Hall, TJ Lavin, Bruce Crisman, Jamie Bestwick and more in the full “Dig 25” video that Snakebite BMX uploaded in its entirety for your viewing pleasure! Obviously with a line up of legends like that, you can expect a ton of great riding. Not only does this have sections from each of the guys, but there’s a few sections from contests, jams and more as well. Hit play and take all of this goodness in!

“Dig 25 was one of those completely random midschool video’s that came out in the early 2000’s. Featuring a who’s who of X-games riders from that time so the riding is good and unlike most videos that were pushed through by non riders at this time this really isn’t cheesy at all.” – Snakebite BMX

Snakebite BMX – Sean Burns Podcast

September 27, 2017

Shad Johnson has just released that latest Snakebite BMX podcast featuring the one and only Sean Burns! This one covers a ton of ground from how Sean got into BMX, riding for Metal Bikes, moving on to start Bone Deth, how he gets girls for the Bone Deth videos, riding, traveling, filming and so much more. If you have the time, hit play and take it all in!

“I sat down with Sean Burns on an extremely hot day in Austin back in 2016 to talk about his early days riding trails, his Metal Bikes days, how to land flat on big gaps and what it takes to run Bonedeth!”
– Shad Johnson

“We’ve been huge fans of this guy since ‘way back when’ here at DIG. At first we were drawn to his riding style and his wild / funny antics, and then it was his stories and contributions to our print mag over the years that kept us even more stoked on him. Nowadays we admire more than ever for not only still killing it on his bike (despite having a riding style that really takes it toll on the body), but for having the energy to shout down the racists, fascists and homophobes online that unfortunately (still) pollute pockets of the BMX world like they unfortunately do in the rest of the ‘real’ world. This interview was conducted way back last year and for endless reasons has taken us forever to publish. We hope you enjoy.” – DIG

Bruce Crisman “Dig 25” Section

September 7, 2017

Snakebite BMX coming through with another gem for your viewing pleasure from the “Dig 25” video that came out back in 2002! This time around we get a full part from Bruce Crisman, with plenty of appearances from Justin Inman. This section is packed full of transition from Woodward East to Burnside and a few other cement parks! Take a peek!

“Bruce Crisman’s part in the Dig 25 video. Bruce was on Haro at the time and was spending his summers riding Woodward and shredding Burnside, Tron, and Lincoln City when he was back home in Oregon.
A few cameo clips from Justin Inman are sprinkled through the part!

York Jam & Solame Trails “Dig 25” Sections

September 4, 2017

Here’s a two-fer for you on this Monday morning! Snakebite uploaded two sections from the “Dig 25” BMX video that came out in back in 2002. The first video is a flatland section from one of the York Jams, then we get a short but sweet section from the Solame Trails below that. Two different worlds in BMX, and very much worth checking out.

“This is the York jam section in the Dig 25 video. Im sure this was from the jam in 2001. Lots of dope riding. If you recognize any of the rider who are not Kevin Jones or Mark Eaton please leave a comment.” – Snakebite BMX

“Kurt Heine put together this short Solame trail section for the Dig 25 part. All the homies were there that day!” – Snakebite BMX
