Source BMX have begun naming captains for this years Battle of Hastings! Here’s a quick video where they told Isaac Lesser he was going to be a captain after riding for other teams the past few years!

The other day we got a look at the Lewis Mills Source BMX “Lock In” video that had plenty of heat in it. Now we get a raw behind the scenes look at what went down while Lewis was working on his part from his morning breakfast to the riding and finding out he’ll be a captain at the 2019 Battle of Hastings contest. The 2018 Battle of Hastings at Source BMX is coming in hot! This weekend they threw a qualifier to get a few last spots filmed for the teams. Here’s a look at all the wild riding that went down from a few familiar faces to a few up and comers! Hit play, enjoy and get ready for the Battle of Hastings!
“Sat 28th July was a wild, wild day in the Source park. Heavy riding from the likes of Isaac Lesser, Pitu, Tom Russell, Brad McNicol, Owain Clegg (yeah), Benny L, Jordan Okane… but it was Paul Ryan and Stuart Chisholm who took the top two spots, securing their place in this year’s Battle of Hastings, 6-9 Sept 2018.

The Fit Bike Co. crew hit up Source BMX to wrap up their FUK-It Tour…
The Fit Bike Co. FUK-It Tour is a WRAP! The crew finished up their trip by making the trip to Source BMX to hang out at the shop and ride Source Park with some of the locals in Hastings, England! Hit play to check out what the guys got into during their time at the place!
“Final day of the FUK-IT Tour we head all the way South to Source BMX in Hastings. They had everything needed to make a great last stop. The next morning the guys packed up and headed back to the US.

Van Homan takes a shot at the Source BMX dart board…
It’s that time again for another round of Bullseye from Source BMX. This time around Van Homan gives a dart a throw to see what he has to do! check out where he ended up and what went down.

The ladies took over Source Park and crushed the place!
It’s been so rad seeing all the progress that the women in BMX have been making, especially in the last two years or so. It seems like there’s a TON of girls starting to ride BMX lately, and it’s been awesome to see. Source BMX have been doing ladies nights at the park since it opened, but they threw a big girls only jam to bring the ladies all together for a session. Check out this highlight video showing you everything that went down from a bunch of familiar faces and a bunch of new ones!
“Wednesday nights at the Source Park have always been girl’s night, but never quite like this… This time around over 20 women from all around the UK—as well a few visiting pros from the USA—took over the park for the Girls Only Jam. With no classes or age groups, everyone competed together—from 12 year old Sasha Pardoe to veteran pro Nina Buitrago. The judging premise was unique, as well, as the girl’s scores weren’t affected by what they didn’t pull, but only judged on what they did land. This approach encouraged the girls to push themselves and go for stuff regardless if they thought they could pull it or not. And it worked… just a few things we saw include 12 year old Sasha attempting fly-out tailwhips, Nina hitting the curved wallride, 16 year-old Hannah Roberts stomping a tailwhip air, Angie Moreno icepick grinding a rail off a kicker, and both Angie and Nina double pegging the big rail. A laid back session with your peers helping push each other to progress… sounds awesome, right? You bet it was. Shout out to all the women who rode, the people who showed up to show support, and The Source for supporting the women of BMX.
