About two weeks ago we got a look at Tate Roskelley’s Amazing Quarantine Contraption that was a super elaborate way to get a front wheel on his bike. Well, it was also a very long process to make it all work. Here’s a video where Tate explains some of the behind the scenes details!

Tate Roskelley’s Amazing Quarantine Contraption – GT BMX
With a ton of places being shut down and a lot of us having some extra time on our hands due to being stuck inside, there has been some creativity going on to keep things interesting. Tate Roskelley decided to cook up the Quarantine Contraption to find a new, far more interesting way to install his front wheel on his bike. Hit play to watch the struggle of making this all work to actually getting it perfect. We can’t imagine how frustrating this got at times, haha. Either way, this turned out awesome!

We were never quite sure what Tate Roskelley called those slides he did, but now we know. 5050 BMX caught up with Tate to have him teach everyone how to do a Superbike Slide. This has a bunch of examples and some good tips on how to get it done. This is definitely one of those tricks you’re going to have to do a few times to figure out, but it looks awesome, so it’s definitely worth learning. Check it!

“Dollar Bet” – Tate Roskelley Section
Here’s one we have been waiting for since sections from Dollar Bet started surfacing online! Tate Roskelley is notorious for riding some of the most original and crazy spots while bringing his unique bag of tricks to the table, an this part is a really good reminder of that. Tate literally rides on water, blasts through walls and does grinds without his front wheel. You NEED to see this one because it’s absolutely amazing. ENJOY!

One of the big reasons we were huge fans of the “Dollar Bet” DVD is because it featured footage from a lot of damn good riders, and creative spots like Matt Beringer‘s new backyard setup, abandoned mini golf places and more. This first Friends section shows really well. Check it!
