It has been entirely too long since we’ve seen something fresh from the Team Dead Sailor crew. Luckily, they had a ton of footage they’re just sitting on that was dropped on the timeline and turned into this chill new edit. Definitely one you want to see. Rest in Peace, Ryan!

Team Dead Sailor – Scotland 2012 Edit

The Team Dead Sailor crew made their annual voyage to Scotland to check out the updates to Unit 23 this past December. Check out this rad video from the riding they got in while they were there. Looks like it was a good time.

“This years now annual trip to Scotland went ahead over Christmas and here is the edit of our time up there.
Having tossed around the idea of going elsewhere we all felt we had to go and ride the new hall at Unit 23, so with a bigger crew all pumped to ride new places we headed to a cold and wet Scotland to ride the indoor parks.
Good times were had and no doubt we will be back up there next year.” – Chris Ashworth

Team Dead Sailor – Two Man Summer

It’s not even fair how many talented riders have been taken from BMX the past few year. Ryan Taylor (Not that Ryan Taylor or Randy Taylor) was one of those riders we lost. This is some of the last footage Chris Ashworth had from a project they were working on. Take a look at this video he decided to release in memory of Ryan. Rest in Peace, Ryan.

“This summer Paul and Ryan stepped up to produce a split edit, visiting new spots and pushing each other to produce clips.
Many trips where had whether solo or joint or even midweek street rides after work, All in the name of a good time and riding as much as we could.
Unfortunately Ryan Taylor passed away as the edit was being finalised. This is a huge loss to us all and he will be sorely missed.
The edit really sums up Paul and Ryan pushing each other’s riding and the memories of this along the way are some of the best.

Team Dead Sailor – Malaga

“A few weeks backs the lads and I took our first riding trip abroad to Malaga, the whole experience of riding and hanging out in the sun day in day out was immense, as well as visiting spots that we had seen in edits and even finding our own along the way. Riding all day everyday meant there were plenty of clips and I filled in the gaps to produce the edit. It took no time at all before we were all discussing where we are going next time. The whole trip was class and this may have been our first BMX trip abroad but I definitely won’t be our last.

“This is what the lads got up to through those hard winter months, some indoor riding but mainly braving the outdoors . The clips are from all over the place , but a lot in Manchester as well as a little further a field. Cold conditions couldn’t stop us but in the end we did get some decent weather to ride in which did prompt the question was it really Winter?

Team Dead Sailor Trip To Scotland

January 5, 2012

“Finally the lads and I managed to get a proper road trip organised so we took the opportunity to try out what Scotland had to offer. We Rode both Unit 23 and EK Park, it was quickly agreed that the parks were immense and the Scots a real treat.
At first I feared we may not have enough clips to make an edit but the lads all turned up eager to film and this meant there was more than enough footage that captured the trip. Featured are Chris Ashworth, Paul Ashworth, Ryan Taylor, Seb Mclellan and John Burns.

This road trip was our first proper one but definitely not our last, its now a case of where next. Good times were had on and off the bike. Even the Scottish weather didn’t put us off.
