Tempered Dynasty Crew – Jonny Mackellar

May 4, 2017

You know you’re in for a treat when you see Jonny Mackellar‘s name pop up in a video! Here’s his welcome to Tempered‘ “Dyanasty Crew” video that’s packed full of some serious trails, race track, street and and bowl roasting. If you love speed and style, this is the BMX video you’re going to want to hit play on today! So damn good.

“A splendid blend of classic style and burliness with a sprinkling of looseness and a no nonsense approach to riding and BMX in general, we introduce to you, Jonny Mackellar. The second Tempered Dynasty crew member to feature on DIG, Jonny has it all – enjoy and then go do some transfers with ya top off!” – DIG

“TMPRD would like to welcome Jonny Mackellar to the TMPRD Dynasty Crew. The dude has a rich history with BMX and is the youngest of a few brothers who have been into BMX and racing forever, it absolutely shows with Jonny’s riding – effortless, powerful, raw. The dude can ride anything and brings that classic trails style to whatever he touches. Jonny has been killing it for years now and will no doubt start to get the recognition he deserves. Another one of Australia’s underground shredders, we are all super proud to have Jonny a part of TMPRD, you will see more. This video hopefully showcases a little of what Jonny’s riding is like – largely filmed by Riwai Milner with a few additional clips by Mike Vockenson. Edited by Mike Vockenson.“” – TMPRD

Tempered – Dynasty Crew: Marius Dietsche 2017 Video

April 21, 2017

Here’s a rad one to help you start Friday off right! Tempered dropped this new video featuring their flow rider Marius Dietsche getting down on spots down in Australia. Marius is no stranger to slaying rails and ledges, but also isn’t scared to send it on a big gap of drop. This is a super good watch from start to finish, so get on that play button!

“German / Aussie transplant Marius Dietsche is a fireball of energy with a penchant for backwards rails and excellent tech treats – no wonder Tempered have added him to their already stacked ranks! Acquaint yourself with Marry Dee, you’ll be seeing a lot more from this guy.

“Tempered would like to give a warm welcome to Marius Dietsche, colloquially known as ‘Marry Dee’. Originally from Germany, now living and studying in Melbourne, these are the clips he had filmed over the last year and a half, with one broken thumb along the way.”

“Welcome to the Tempered Dynasty crew Marius! “ledz pady guys” – TMPRD

Filmed by Sean Falkenstein, Chris Bracamonte, Kym Grosser, Pat Freyne, James Pease, Bevan Cowan, Jake Deering, Marius Winter, Jaxon Andrawartha & Alex Liiv / Edited by Alex Liiv” – DIG

Tempered – 2016 Filthy Drains Jam Highlights

January 13, 2017

The annual Filthy Drains Jam down in Australia has always been a good time, and it looks like this years jam was another damn good time! Here’s a video giving you a look at what went down on the different ramp and rail setups they built, along with some of the good times that were had off the bike… Well, except for the guy that got knocked out and had to take a ride in the ambulance to the hospital. Overall, it looks like it was another successful party! Check it out!

“The Tempered crew and the Fairfield locals know how to do it! They got busy and built a ghetto setup, hosted a few bands, got seriously loose on the wild obstacles and then, of course, burnt it to the ground. This harks back to FBM ghetto jam days and we love it. Doesn’t get much better, and looser than this. Here’s what the Tempered dudes had to say:

“For the 5th installment, the TMPRD crew, as well as the local Fairfield boys, put in a bunch of work to ready the drain for another day of BMX at it’s rawest.

With the help of local dudes ‘The Vessel’s’ on tunes, the hordes who showed up and the kindness of the weather gods, the day was a stoke fest for young and old.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to support BMX the way it should be, dirty, loose and fun as hell.

Thanks to Jerry Vandervalk for masterminding the whole project.

Filmed/edited – Mike Vockenson.

Songs: The Cars – Just What I Needed (first song), the other 2 were performed by The Vessels on the day,”- Tempered” – DIG

Tempered – Jerry Vandervalk “Doomsday for the Deceiver”

December 21, 2015

Tempered Bikes have released the final installment of their “Doomsday for the Deceiver” series and it’s definitely ending with a serious BANG. Jerry Vandervalk‘s section starts out raw with a few jibs and lines, then at about the 1:15 mark things get real hot and he proceeds to destroy spot after spot. Some riders toss on a freecoaster and it kind of makes their riding look better, but Jerry is clearly meant for one of these things. He mixes in buttery smooth fakies and fakie manuals into some crazy grind lines, sends it down some BIG rails and puts in some time on some unique spots. This is one hell of a BMX video! Enjoy!

Full length part featuring riding from a recent European adventure as well as clips from the wider SEQ region in Australia. Jerry has been around forever, consistently producing quality parts with a style like no other, thoughtful, innovative and smoother than hell. This part is no exception.

Today, Tempered Bikes dropped Mike’s section from the “Doomsday for the Deceiver” video online. November 23, 2015

The Tempered crew are back and they’re coming in strong with the “Doomsday for the Deceiver” video. Up first we get a look at Wilton Hedley‘s section, which is jam packed full of gnarly street, trails and park action. Wilton is no stranger to sending it and bringing a ton of style to the table. Get on that play button and enjoy this… It kicks a TON of ass!

“This serves some of the justice owed to Wilton and his talents in having as much fun as possible on a bike with a smile on his face, typically following a hangover and with a classic edge reminiscent of early 2000s BMX.
Welcome to Tempered Wilton. Doomsday.
Filmed over the majority of 2015, largely around Brisbane, Australia.
Shot/cut: Mike Vockenson
