Texas Toast Jam 2012 Announced

May 4, 2012

There is NO WAY in hell I’m missing this one this year.

“This year will include dirt jumps, street course, and the return of an even more challenging Gauntlet of Death. Flatland will also be a part of this year’s Toast as we combine forces with the Texas Round Up flatland jam.

Mark your calendars and we will bring you more information in the coming months as it becomes available.” – Odyssey

Sunday Team at Texas Toast

July 14, 2011

Sunday Team at Texas Toast from Sunday Bikes

“Texas Toast may have come and gone, but the fun memories are still lingering. The weekend was so much fun, the whole PRO team came out to chill, ride and survive the hot weather. Three out of the five people that got through the Gauntlet of Death were from the Sunday team. Gary Young, Jake Seeley and Alex Magallan all made it through. Gary continued his good weekend by winning both the curved wallride contest and the dirt jump event. It was super windy and hot, but everyone had a blast. Can’t wait for the next one. This video captures some moments of the team during the weekend. Enjoy!” – Sunday

Sparky’s at the Texas Toast Jam

June 14, 2011

“The Texas Toast Jam was an amazing three days that brought riders from all over the world to Austin to participate in an event unlike any other. The Shadow Conspiracy and Subrosa set out to deliver some of the most unique obstacles at the contest, and by the response, they did not disappoint. With the help of Eben Krackau and Byron Anderson, the 9-foot tall Subrosa Shield and Shadow Coffin up ledge were created. Here is a compilation of things that went down on these ramps throughout the weekend.

Fox at the Texas Toast Jam Edit

June 10, 2011

Fox just dropped their edit from the Texas Toast Jam. They’ve got a lot of footage of their guys like Sean Sexton, Chase Hawk and Scotty Cranmer, but it’s not limited to the team. So if you haven’t gotten enough Toast, take a look.

Odyssey’s Texas Toast Jam – The Complete Video

June 2, 2011

To be honest, this was the video I was waiting on. In some of the other photos and videos I spotted Stewart Johnson with a camera. I knew he was going to be doing something with the footage and it turns out it was for ESPN. This covers the whole event real well. There’s also good news… Taj mentions it will be happening again next year!

“This past weekend, Taj Mihelich, Odyssey BMX and the great city of Austin, Texas injected the fun back into the BMX contest scene with the Texas Toast Jam. All weekend long, Sandy Carson was on the ground shooting photos for us, but we didn’t stop there. Stew Johnson was also on hand for Texas Toast, and the above is the resulting video, covering every aspect of the event, from Beringer’s peg drags to a boat captain being randomly taken out on the course by a flying bike. Video by Stew Johnson.” – ESPN
