Flatland Tricky How To App

November 18, 2015

A video posted by Thomas Noyer (@thomasnoyer) on Nov 15, 2015 at 2:20am PST

We’ve been seeing a lot of BMX video games and apps popping up lately, and it looks like Flatland is about to get their own. We just spotted this video over on Flat Matters‘ Facebook page and were blown away. Thomas Noyer posted this clip from a beta version of the Flatland Tricky App that was designed as a learning tool for tricks. You select the trick and a video game style rider performs the trick. You can go frame by frame, slow-mo and a number of other things to see how the trick is done, to help you learn it in real life on your bike. It’s not a game, but it looks like it has the potential to eventually be turned into that. Either way, It sounds like it will be available on iTunes in December with Android in early 2016. Check out the Flatland Tricky Facebook Page for more videos and photos from the app.

Here’s one we spotted over on Flat Matters of Thomas Noyer and Jean William Prevost getting some flatland sessions in at a few spots around Albi, France! Great riding in this!

“BMX Flatland artists Thomas Noyer and Jean William Prévost, a Frenchie and a Quebecer who meet up in Thomas’s scenic hometown of Albi in the Midi-Pyréné region of France. Settle down, and enjoy the quasi pumpless and scuffless art of BMX Flatland. This one is entitlted ”Albigeoisie” as a statement to recognise the beauty and cultural richness of the region.
