This is so cool. Back when I got into BMX (late 90’s, early 2000’s), most American BMX brand’s trips were to some destination in the USA, or maybe to somewhere like England or Germany if you were really going all out. In the past few years, however, that has changed drastically, and I think it’s great. Riders aren;t just visiting new spots for make a video, but learning about new cultures and making it more of a life experience than a filming mission. Odyssey and Empire really turned it up for this one, going to a location that most Americans will never get the chance to visit. Hats off to you guys! X-Games Coming to Austin, Texas

A few months back, X-Games announced that 2013 would be the last year they would be holding the event in Los Angeles and that they would be opening up bids for cities to have them come. They had Chicago, Detroit, Charlotte, North Carolina and Austin, Texas all put in bids that landed on the list for potential places to go. They opened up voting and it looks like Austin has been chosen as the location for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017’s host city. You can find out more by Clicking Here.
